Not sure I ever said thanks Questy but you introduced me to Mesarthim, the album Isolate is a Cosmic Black Metal masterpiece! I don't usually ever listen to atmospheric music but that album is definitely an exception! I can add Odium (symphonic bm), Droid (progressive thrash) and Obscura has some spacey tracks too (Tech Death)
Thorns self titled and only album has this futuristic , technologically advanced ,and outer space vibe into it. Some good suggestions in this tier list btw!
Great music & some new ones for me in there; thanks, Questy! But surely Bolt Thrower's "Realm of Chaos" deserved a space (pun intended), too? - Mighty Imperial battlecruisers figthing the forces of Chaos around the Eye of Terror; entire worlds devoured - "In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war..."
Great idea, great video! I would add Hallig - A Distant Reflection Of The Void & Vyre - Weltformel to my trip, but cannot decide on one specific part of the journey. I would do the full space trip.
I'd also consider these albums being some of the best cosmic-themed goodies.. Decrepit Birth - Diminishing Between Worlds, The Faceless - Planetary Duality, Obscura - Cosmogenesis and Fallujah - The Harvest Wounds. Technical and spacey!
I really appreciate how you structured your suggestions demonstrating the variety with cosmic metal. I enjoyed most of your black metal suggestions and hope to check them out 🤘🏽
Great video, I liked your special tiers haha. Got to say I’m sorry I didn’t see my personal favorite obscura on the list but I know not everything can fit into one video
Dude Mithras is a must listen. Cosmic tech death. I also would’ve put Nocturnus Thresholds, my favorite album from them. Nocturnus AD Paradox is good too from 2019
Sear Bliss is a less-known black metal band from Hungary. They are not really playing "cosmic metal", but I would recommend one of their albums to this topic. Maybe you could give "Glory and Perdition" a try. I know you don't use Spotify, but I hope they are also on Apple Music.
Iapetus is my favourite cosmic metal band. Shame they weren't mentioned here, great prog/melodeath with atmospheric acoustic sections. I recommend their 2019 album "The Body Cosmic" :)
Norway's Odium The Sad Realm Of The Stars & Limbonic Art's In Abhorrence Dementia always deserve more. They're the ogs. Anyway, show us your collection
@@Agostoic Yeah, I can see that *you* would defend someone who uses a name they didn't understand and thought sounded pretty badass. Am I right, Agosdorky?
12:21 "Darkness ahead" Forgets the next band and shows head instead 👽👽
Hopefully we get another Mare Cognitum album soon!

Samael "Eternal" (1999). Cosmic Black Metal. Saludos.
I’d throw in Iotunn - Access All Worlds on this delicious iceberg 🤌🏻
Fuck yeah loving the new content you've been putting out questy
Discovered Vektor recently thanks to you, holy shit, Terminal Redux blew me the fuck away, I love it

Great video! Felt like a little adventure with that storyline :) More of that please
I really appreciate how you structured your suggestions demonstrating the variety with cosmic metal. I enjoyed most of your black metal suggestions and hope to check them out 🤘🏽
Great vid I definitely found some new bands to head off to space with
Love your videos!
You’re the best bro
Anybody here surprised Questy hasn't talked about the new Katatonia album yet?
Great video, I liked your special tiers haha. Got to say I’m sorry I didn’t see my personal favorite obscura on the list but I know not everything can fit into one video
I had both of those Pestilence and Nocturnus albums back in the 90's and both are excellent.
There's also Enforcer with the album Zenith, and Imperialist with the album Zenith, and Seven Kingdoms with the album Zenith.
Oh my god, Visitations from Enceladus is one of my favourite albums. And so is Imperative Imperceptible Impulse
10/space content
Great fun video. I also recommend Entity by Origin.
so really this episode is Star Trek meets metal music?? 😂😂🤘Your videos are so entertaining!!
Dude Mithras is a must listen. Cosmic tech death. I also would’ve put Nocturnus Thresholds, my favorite album from them. Nocturnus AD Paradox is good too from 2019
A great Cosmic black metal band you forgot to mention, be it intentionally or by accident is the fantastic Alrakis!
The song M20 is simply haunting!

Slomatics. Electric Breath. Bit bias tho since I made the video.
Voidsphere?
My friend has a cosmic thrash project called Nebular Void on bandcamp and should be coming out with a new album soon
Checked them out. They sound pretty good
@@stantorren4400 Yeah and he was only 16 when he made that
If you ever do an addendum to this video include Mithras
Iapetus is my favourite cosmic metal band. Shame they weren't mentioned here, great prog/melodeath with atmospheric acoustic sections. I recommend their 2019 album "The Body Cosmic" :)
Great band, reminds me a lot of Ne Obliviscaris but with a spacey vibe
I’ll have to check them out! I like how, since they’re a cosmic metal band, they share the name with a moon of Saturn.
@@deathmetalpokemon Wow I didn't know that! That's pretty cool.
Vorga is 3rd place on my 2022 albums list.
Bal Sagoth the album with the longest song titles ever put to paper lol
Helllllll Yeaaaaaaaah Cosmic Black Metal
Surprised you didn't mention Leviathan's "Massive Conspiracy Against All Life"
Maniacal vale is my favorite funeral doom record but its not darker than darkspace or blut aus nord.
Where the hell is windveill
I just got a copy of the CD! One of the best abm albums of last year
Where is Cosmic Putrefaction?
Norway's Odium The Sad Realm Of The Stars & Limbonic Art's In Abhorrence Dementia always deserve more. They're the ogs.
Anyway, show us your collection
Nothing more cosmic than Projects from Heike Langhans bands such as ISON and now REMINA. Cosmic brooding doom. New Lp in 2025 ??
Where’s AYREON?
Wouldn't call them metal but definitely consider them top tier
For me... The Spirit for now...
Can you please put the band names on screen? I sometimes have trouble discerning the names when you say them and when they're not on the album cover
They will all be in the description of my videos so you can check the bands out 🍺
@@Questformetal oh, I didn't think of looking in there apparently, sorry! Thanks
no Parius?
Great Video but I missed Portal for the last one. They ARE the Void 😂
True, but they're not really a cosmic metal band!
Seeing Cryptic Shift on Friday 👽🤘
Seen them before they put on a good show enjoy 🍺
Was hoping to see Esoteric. I feel like you aldis could have used The Pernicious Enigma in an earlier place, but The Maniacal Vale works well too!
New Blut aus Nord sounds interesting but I can't in good conscience listen to a band with such a completely moronic name.
Lame pet peeve, lol
@@Agostoic Yeah, I can see that *you* would defend someone who uses a name they didn't understand and thought sounded pretty badass.
Am I right, Agosdorky?
@@8523wsxc still lame response. Whatever your nick means, lmao
@@Agostoic So "LAME!1!!" and "no u 😭!" is your entire vocabulary. How fitting for you, Anapnoic.
Oh no... you didnt that... event horizon!!
