The reason I ended up here at this video is because I've been seriously considering trading in my Infiniti QX60 (which is a beautiful car, by the way, but only if you equip it properly. Don't get the base model---get everything and then it's a nice car). I think this video has convinced me----I'm going to get Kia's version of this vehicle (as opposed to its twin, the Hyundai). Also, it's pretty cool to see the test facility because I have driven by the entrance to it dozens and dozens of times to get from my home in the SF Bay Area to Las Vegas. Along highway 58 after coming down off Tehachpi and passing the airplane graveyard, you have to look really closely and you'll see the little entrance to this place. If you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right by it. So many times I have seen a new Kia or Hyundai driving down Highway 58 and it's been all wrapped up in "disguise" so that people can't tell what the car looks like. I love it when I see that! It adds some excitement to the extremely boring part of the 9 hour drive to Sin City. Nice video, and thank you again for making it and thank you to the folks at Hyundai and Kia! I never thought I would buy a Kia because all I thought of were little crappy bubble cars with 50 HP and no options. I'm exaggerating a little bit, but when Kia first came out, their cars were NOT desirable at all. But this SUV, the Telluride, WOW!!! I can't wait to get mine!

The concept/prototype vehicle looked WAY better than the one that was released. These folks are crazy.

Soooo... Telluride vs Palisade?
Trying to get one or the other next year.. any opinion is greatly appreciated.
I have yet to drive the Palisade but looks wise I prefer the Telluride. Can't give full judgement until I had driven the Palisade.
Go for the Telluride if u wany a lower trim and Palisade if going fully loaded.

I think the Palisade looks more luxury and Telluride looks more rugged like a Jeep are GMC.
Its interesting to see on the sheet it said the telluride had 12 speakers but when you go to kias website it says it has 10 speakers....
Coaxial speakers in rear doors instead of separates.

@@AmeerHamza-nv2ei No need to speak on my behalf Ameer. To answer your question Daniel, yes. There are no many times we get to see exactly how a vehicle is built and put together. The quality control was incredible and the level of testing is as good as or (in some cases) better than some of the best brands.

MARK LEVINSON is one of the WORST sound systems, found in Lexus vehicles such as the LS 500 and ES 350/300h. Anyone who thinks that they are even halfway decent, is beyond DELUSIONAL!! Oddly enough, the JBL systems found in their lower end Toyota branded vehicles, are a MILLION times superior!!
These are really nice SUV's, I was going to purchase one but the dealerships are taking advantage of the customers by adding anywhere from a 2500 to 8000 addendum, I laughed and walked out of not one but 3 different dealerships. I decided to go with a Toyota, I use to be a Kia fan and customer, no more, I am done with these greedy companies. 👎👎
