Medieval Madness - The Coolest Pinball Machine! (My Favorite)

- Williams Medieval Madness has always been my favorite pinball machine. Created in 1997, it quickly became a favorite among pinball enthusiasts. Only 4,016 of these machines were ever made.
Growing up, I use to play this exact pinball game at my fathers friends warehouse. It has always had a special place in my heart as it brings me back to that memory period of my life.
Sadly, my fathers friend passed away of cancer. Later, I reached out to his son expressing interest that I would be interested in the game if he ever decided to let it go.
A few years later he contacted me and we made it happen.
The game is an original Williams Medieval Madness which has never been on location. It near flawless condition with only recreational use over the years. I did bring the game to a pinball guy that gave the game a refresh with new LED bulbs, rubbers and bumpers.
I have always been a fan of pinball games. If you are looking for a fun, exciting and funny game to play with friends and family, look no further than Medieval Madness!

Pinball machines are pure works of art. They’re absolute beautiful.
Yes! They're fun but they're also just pleasant to look at, especially the newer ones with the nice LCD screens and lights. I love going to the pinball museum near me and just playing random machines. It's not as fun as playing Medieval Madness for hours and hours like I normally do but it's cool to experience all of the tables.
Man, we had this game at work and whenever a shift was done I would spend hours playing this. I love this machine. It really is the pinnacle of pinball.
I want to work there
I'm happy you're back Jeff. Missed ya!! And I love that pinball machine. Cool as hell. Great video....Thanks dude!
Amazing video! This is by far the greatest pinball machine ever made. Thank you for taking the time to create & share this!
It's definitely my favorite pinball machine (I'm literally on UA-cam looking for Medieval Madness content to watch before the pizza arcade bar opens) but for me it's hard to say "by far" because Theatre of Magic is so so fun as well and Jurassic Park is an absolute masterpiece. They have all 3 at the Hungry Sasquatch. And they have the best pizza of all time (not exaggerating).
this game is the best pinball in my oppinion, so much fun to play!
I'm addicted to it
Come on in, we'll take this outside! Love this machine
Fun fact, Tina Fey did the voice acting for the damsels.
It’s always feels like christmas morning when jeff uploads
Troles do not disappoint me this time
When do they ever not disappoint you?!?
Also one of my favorites! Played it a bunch at the arcade today
You always have the coolest stuff! I haven't played pinball since I was a kid. And I agree, there's something you get out of the visceral play of a pinball game that you just can't get from a video game. This one looks like a lot of fun!
I've played video games my whole life. I just bought this handheld emulator device thing and I take it to the bar and I don't play it, I just do nothing but play pinball. I love it a lot. There's something about the physical feeling of controlling the ball in a closed environment. The word I hear most is "tactile". You can feel your fingers touch the button which flips the flipper which connects with the ball which hits the target you're aiming for. To me, it feels more like baseball than video games. lol It's very fun.
Wow this is the coolest pinball machine ever
This looks really cool.
Very cool! Always nice when you can keep a sentimental piece in the family. Been playing this on Steam. It is a very cool table. Thanks for sharing this.
I play it every day at the Hungry Sasquatch, the local pizza arcade bar. I told my husband to get a job there so now he is. lol I'll get to play it all the time!!!!
Great review. Glad you got to own it. Beautiful machine
Great video and back story of where you got the game. More importantly it was awesome that you posted a video of our favorite hobby...pinball. Gadget Jeff + pinball = awesome. We have 13 pinball machines in our collection and play almost every day.
Wow! That's so cool. Which ones do you have? Which are your favorites?
@@TheMusicRoomWA my favorites are Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park and Foo Fighters
This. Channel is so underrated been around since the beginning glad to see ya back
Funny. Its my favorite too. Went to a Pinball Bar last night to play it.
I go there every day/night to play it. I'm resisting right now because I want to wait for my husband to get off work, but it's hard to resist!
Pinball machines hold the value pretty good. I just purchased 6 games NBI in a span of almost a year I would say. I don't own a house or rent one due to my rotational overseas job (90/30) but I just got it in me that a want an arcade in my house when I get one lol. I started backwards lol arcade first and then the house to put them game and collectibles.
Ok, that does it. I'm selling everything I own and living outside so I can save more quarters for Medieval Madness! Hopefully they'll give me free pizza because I won't have any quarters left for food!!!
Awesome! Miss ya bro.
The Williams had an edge!!!
coolest pinball game ever.
I love Medieval Madness so much. I play it constantly even though I shouldn't--I'm number 1, 3 and 4 on the scoreboard at the Sasquatch (my local arcade pizza bar). I don't want to wipe the 2nd place guy off the board! I should play more Theatre of Magic or Jurassic Park. But I can't resist!
One thing I haven't seen you do is the Super Skill Shot... Surely you know about that, right? In case you don't, hold the left flipper whilst launching the ball, then shoot for one of the ramps or loops. After that, you'll get a Hurry Up, which can score you a million points if you're quick at it. Nice vid! This is indeed one of my favourite pinballs out there. Now I'm just wondering how its first owner managed to acquire one of those machines and keep it in private possession, as they've _never_ been cheap to come by.
THANK YOU!!!!! I'm too lazy to read the rules so that helps a lot. I'm getting pretty good but I want to master this game. Do you have any more tips for me?
@@TheMusicRoomWA Unfortunately, it's been quite a while since I've been able to play. One thing I always used to do was to go for the first two Castles and then score the Extra Ball you get for this at Merlin. You also get an Extra Ball when the total score reaches 28 Million, although this is configurable by the table operator and most certainly will be disabled if the table is in Tournament Mode.
Williams outdid themselves on that machine , can't even get good new stuff as good as that nowadays , only in my dusty past , they . .. . remain . . . . . .
I believe that the designers have admitted that the theme of Medieval Madness is inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
What’s your high score after all those years?
What's yours?

Here's a playlist of pinball skills to level up your game! I see your not nudging the machine by how close it is to the wall. Huge part of getting good is learning to nudge the table without tilting it :) ua-cam.com/video/ch7H19SHkXE/v-deo.html
Oh you do nudge it some, I don't know how with so little space xD
But I don't see how you can slap save it with so little space
I wonder how much those drug warnings had to do with the death of the arcade. I mean, it's pretty lame. Now it's nostalgic and a novelty, though. If you put something like that on your game it becomes an anti-drug game no matter what the game is like. If when you turn on your SNES to play Super Mario and "say no to drugs pop up, then it's an anti-drug game despite the game just being Mario World. The game itself is pinball with the pictures stripped away. It's anti-drug themed in the same way it's Medieval Madness themed. Appearance and suggestion.
glad you like it but it looks dated and stupid to me. Prefer new Stern games like Iron Maiden.
Appreciate your sharing your opinion. Which one do you own?
