Out of all these funny comments my over experience within 4 days is, i am able to pronounce German words properly. I am able to understand atleast 10 words so far in 4 days. I only listened in my day time when i am working. i tried twice listening to this audio while i am sleeping. All these german words keep coming into my mind sometimes i don't even know the meaning but this works. I am very happy with this video.
So it's better to listen to it whilst working and not at sleep? I am working in a noisy kitchen, maybe I should plug my mobilephone in the ears and listen to this instead?

I’m nearly 100% German, and suddenly today I had the inexplicable urge to learn German. I’m finding it pretty easy after watching nearly the first 20 minutes of this video to understand how to pronounce things when reading them, so that’s fun. And compared to when I studied Spanish for 2 years in highschool, my vocal chords definitely were designed for German pronunciation, rather than Spanish. I’m hoping to visit Germany someday! You can’t learn in one time so you will have to take 10 lines and write on your note book and practice these 10 lines when you learn these 10 lines then go-ahead. So this video will complete in a month but after completing a month of daily practice you will know common things of German language.
Chill the Frick out! Nobody's making fun of the country. It sounds similar to known phrases, so it'll be easier to remember . In Japanese, "good morning" sounds like the U.S. state Ohio (Ohayo!). It's not an insult, just a homophone. Feelin Dank helps me remember that German V sounds like English F. And Fight Me is the opposite of what you'd say when happiily meeting someone (unless they are a YT commenter...)
I think this video is actually useful for blind English native speakers who want to learn German since the German guy speaks clearly every single word. In fact, it's very useful for everyone
My grandparents came to America before having my parents and I'm mostly German heritage. My parents know alot of German dishes that we only make for special occasions. I suppose I want to learn to get intouch with where my family originated.

If you go to Germany and someone tries to speak to you in German you can say it I did the same thing when I went to Spain when I didn’t know Spanish too well :p
This has helped me tremendously, but I suggest taking German classes first. Especially if you speak English. It’s that much harder to learn if you don’t understand the word order. Btw, I love German. I hope to go to Germany one day.

@@toumyaccida4101 what do you want to know? Well there's one thing that I want everybody to know: when there's an r at the end of a word, we don't pronounce it that much. For example "Ohr". We pronounce it like oa. Or "Tor" which we pronounce like toa. Nobody really pronounces the r like very hard in the back of their throat. That would be way too hard, even for us germans! 😂

Has anyone used this to practice learning phrases from scratch? I took an intro German class a year ago so some of this sounds familiar, but I've heard that it's most effective to learn a language like a baby and start with basic phrases. Curious to see if anyone else has done this
you ought to at least know basic grammar. understand the cases and stuff. because if you choose to walk the path solely of sudden epiphanies and picking up these grammatical concepts without easy explanations in books it‘s going to take way longer. no need for exercises as long as you understand. then what‘s important is input and after practice the output.

This has helped me tremendously, but I suggest taking German classes first. Especially if you speak English. It’s that much harder to learn if you don’t understand the word order. Btw, I love German. I hope to go to Germany one day.

@@toumyaccida4101 what do you want to know? Well there's one thing that I want everybody to know: when there's an r at the end of a word, we don't pronounce it that much. For example "Ohr". We pronounce it like oa. Or "Tor" which we pronounce like toa. Nobody really pronounces the r like very hard in the back of their throat. That would be way too hard, even for us germans! 😂

Has anyone used this to practice learning phrases from scratch? I took an intro German class a year ago so some of this sounds familiar, but I've heard that it's most effective to learn a language like a baby and start with basic phrases. Curious to see if anyone else has done this
It's best to learn German by being surrounded by German people. You'll pick it up slowly
you ought to at least know basic grammar. understand the cases and stuff. because if you choose to walk the path solely of sudden epiphanies and picking up these grammatical concepts without easy explanations in books it‘s going to take way longer. no need for exercises as long as you understand. then what‘s important is input and after practice the output.
