Ben's line at 4:10 caught me off guard and caused me to spit water all over my desk. After I cleaned it up, nothing was damaged, I had to replay it a couple times and it makes me laugh just as hard every time. In fact the entire episode was great and worth multiple replays. Just another wonderful episode of Back Issues. Thank you ComicPOP! crew for all your hard work!

They could have easily nailed this. They should have dropped the Joker/Sinestro, Two-face premise completely. I would have had Batman returning to Gotham after dropping off Sinestro and immediately creating a utility belt in the case of his ring running out of charge. Sinestro would come to earth after getting a yellow power ring kill Gordon and figure out Bruce's identity but have Bruce square off against Sinestro only to find his ring weak to the power yellow. Batman would make use of his utility belt to even the field and Sinestro would flee to get allies but he would empower Scarecrow, Clayface and Killer Croc. I would also have Bruce creating defenses for the Batcave and Wayne mansion that utilized the color red such as red laser cannons after figuring out the weakness for Sinestro's ring. The heroes of the Justice League would already be established but Bruce would be the one to call them all together. I could go on but I just imagined a much better story than what they came up with.

It is incredibly disappointing that there wasn't a bat-signal in this book, considering there is a physical lantern they could've used for it. Give Gordon the lantern, levelling the apparent power level somewhat and thus establishing trust in Batman being somewhat accountable.
dc just did a hell of a sale on comixology so i bought all three volumes of Batman elseworlds. A LOT of them that i've read so far kinda go off the rails haha. so its not limited to just this one. still they're fun as hell, better than a lot of the older what if books, even though I do love those watcher book ends. this episode deserves so much more views, its a batman elseworld for gods sake!
I read this book just earlier today, and I have to say it's pretty interesting, if not batshit crazy. While the art is mundane and the dialogue doesn't stabd out, I love how Bruce taking the ring instead of Hal significantly changes things like preventing Joker's creation and having a harsher relationship with Commissioner Gordon. The two main things that irked me, though, was Sinestro's cleanshaven face and the lazy Green Lanternification of Superman, Flash, and Wonder Woman. They didn't even try, just slapping dorky domino masks and a small emblem on their chest.
LOL, Sal's usually great at making names up in Elseworlds Exchange. I'd make them Bat Lantern, Binary Face, Cat Sapphire etc. Anyway, absolutely hilarious episode as always, guys..!! Thanks for the time & effort you all put into this and all your others videos..!!

It would be cool if the Guardians knew about Batman from seeing the multiverse and wanted a more efficient Green Lantern at their command but didn't realize Batman wouldn't just follow orders

DC's approach to this book: DO YOU GET IT YET, SINESTRO IS JOKER AND JOKER IS SINESTRO, NO TWO PEOPLE HAVE EVER BETTER BEEN EACH OTHER.
