It may not be Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, but its charming, happy and fun like Song of the South, Melody Time, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan, as if made to be a tribute to Disney films from the 40s and 50s.

This movie deserves a television series like they did with their other movies, so we can see more backstory and character development, even get answers to what the film did not have time to explain. If Fievel's American Tails and Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa can tell a good story as a television series, surely HOTR can.

It convinced me to be a cow, country, bluegrass, and Wild West fanatic, having better respect for those things, especially for cows to know they are not some "dumb animal".

Wonderful! Disney love to fill their movies with songs but they usually fall flat. The reason I love Home on the Range is the singing because for once - just for once - Disney hired singers who can actually sing. Sing it kd lang! Superb!
