My favorite line is "Cause love's such an old fashioned word, and love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night, and love dares you to change our way of..." I think it's a really beautiful line, especially Erik and Gloria reaching out their flippers.
The original version of this song was amazing, but somehow, given the nature of what the song is about, I feel having a large group of people singing this together helps bring out the heart of the song more than any single person or small group of people ever could.
This is legit why this song makes me sob so hard. Something about being together as one under the same oppression and bringing us together as a community, and the more we hurt and feel it and work together the more it gets better. Everything he sings about is relevant today even more than it ever was and there's POWER in this song. Everyone singing was so talented too!
They really became friends without saying a single word to each other, purely bonded by what happened with their fathers.... i love his face when he hears them join in the singing
violitrock I can understand y u say this, but maybe it's because not a day goes by where I don't think of our Lord and savior pink😇😇 I dont really feel like she underrated, maybe a little underappreciated.
"This is our last dance~!" No more 3rd Happy Feet.. Oh my gosh, the feels.. this movie makes me get all kinds of feelings.. I'm so glad this movie was made with such beautiful songs.. ;-; ❤
"This is our last dance" is part of the original song's lyrics. We can't really take them saying that as much more than a coincidence. Besides George Miller has said they are talking about ideas for Happy Feet 3 but they aren't announce anything until they get an amazing idea for it.
Okay why am I crying. I haven't heard this for a very long time, I'm 21 years old, I probably heard this around 10 years ago. I miss my those times. Hearing this makes me want to go home and be with my parents
Yo were the same age. cool! But yeah this version is so emotional and powerful. something about the chior and P!nks vocals really add to this. plus the added context of the film it just gets so much better
It makes me sad that this is the final dance scene is the Happy Feet series, until they make a third film, but George Miller doesn't have any plans. What's even more sad is that one of the lyrics say, "'This is our last dance."
"'This is our last dance" is part of the original song's lyrics (this is a cover, not the original version), so I don't think we can assume that means this is the last movie because of it. And George Miller has said that he has plans, in a way, for a third film. He just wants to wait until he or the others get the perfect idea for Happy Feet 3.
I feel like the people behind the movie did a sort of reverse troll move here: they started with the beat-as you do-and you think with dread that they’re going to play “Ice Ice Baby,” but then thank the Lord they go with “Under Pressure” instead 😂
@@winterberry3412 This is a movie that takes place in the Antarctica, they’re currently trying to break a giant piece of ice, and even if the song really doesn’t make much sense in context, these movies have a tendency to feature joke songs (there’s literally a scene where one of the characters sings the Numa Numa song) or songs that don’t really makes sense in context but are popular so they use them anyway. It was not out of the possibility for them to use Ice, Ice Baby for this scene.
You know, there is always a movie out there that has a song that comes on , no matter the age, you have a good or a bad reaction. This however, really got to me. When the scene came on and Erik started and then the two little seals chimed in, eyes got big, breath taken and I sighed big time. As the song played, watching the movie, I found myself filling up with pride that no matter the task, how big or small, that nothing cannot be defeated! Loved it so much and so did my grandbabies.

Use your imagination: You’re a new hero (Doesn’t matter who) in the city and are in a final boss fight with your enemy (Also doesn’t matter who). And the people in that city is cheering you on to win the fight. The boss over powers you and you become very weak. But all of the crowds starts humming the rhythm of Under Pressure (0:00). Though the boss is confused to what is happening, you break free of his/her grip (0:26), and are ready to fight the boss again. At 0:34, the two of you start fighting again. At 1:22, the boss retreats onto a rooftop of a tall building. As you go after him/her, you notice your crush is in with the crowds of the city. Distracted, you get back on track and go after the villain (1:41) and chase him/her to the rooftop. At 1:56, you make it to the rooftop, confront the villain, and begin fighting one last time at 2:03. Around 2:22, you overpower you’re villain, winning the fight. But at 2:57, this is where you can use your imagination how the boss fight ends (Villain gets arrested, he accidentally falls off the building, etc.).
This is literally the best song in the entire movie in my opinion, I love this so much it's so good! The beat is fantastic with how they use their feet and flippers 😄
Lani Aliikai In the movie, you can hear Erik sing along but in this, we can hear him in our hearts. This song is sooo good we can hear him, even though he's not there in the actual audio.
