i just found out most soloist neck thrus are actually similar to a set or glued neck because the neck is just glued to a board that runs down the middle with wings attached. most even have that middle strip made of 2 peices too. so they are truly not thru necks anymore nor have been for some time. watch the video of the usa jackson custom shop and you will see them explain this fully.
