    *Correction: most long-term memories are stored in the neocortex, the largest part of the cerebral cortex, rather than in the front part called prefrontal cortex. See the image in the video for a visual representation of the placement of the different parts of the cerebral cortex.

    Working memory is the route to long term memory . Working memory can be compared to a CPU . It has limited capacity which is why we need to send maximum learning to the long term memory - which has infinite capacity.
