I have this, diagnosed by a dermatologist as capillaritis, they said no worries its harmless. The thing is, it started where i injured my ankle by falling into a brick fireplace, very painful, but its like the circulation at that spot hasnt been happy ever since and the little red and brown spots slowly grow and make new ones in that area. In a case where a serious injury precedes the development of the spots, can vein clinics actually help by getting rid of that bad area using lasers or what?

A vein clinic would carry out a duplex ultrasound vein mapping scan. This would identify if there was venous insufficiency present and also identify which veins would need to be treated. It is not the skin, but the underlying cause that needs to be treated. There are fantastic procedures now available to cure incompetent veins or at the very least to hugely improve venous insufficiency.
I have had Endovenous Laser Ablation Therapy, together with Transluminal Occlusion Perforators (I had four damaged perforator veins) followed eight weeks later with Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy. I had all of these performed at a private vein clinic in London in 2018 and haven’t looked back since.
Incidentally, if you have any incompetent perforators there are very few vascular surgeons can work on them. The Professor who clinic I went to actually invented the TRLOP procedure I had on mine. I’m from the UK and the NHS couldn’t even carry out these procedures. I had to pay, but it was worth every penny.

What does catch it before it advances mean? I am going to have my veins checked in a month as my ultra sound on my legs read a 20 for blood flow speed and is supposed to read 70. I have a little looks to be purple mark on my knew as of a few days ago so just do what I am doing get my veins checked? I don’t know how to stop it otherwise or if that is even possible. If my veins have plaque then maybe it is possible to slow that down as I would get some circulation back but if not what can I do?

It sounds like you may be concerned about artery blockage, so it's something you need to discuss with your primary care provider - who may recommend an arterial ultrasound.

A list of symptoms - but not the real cause at the center of it all.

Is there something that can be done to get rid of this discoloration?

If the discolouration is from venous incompetence, then the underlying cause needs to treated. I have been through all of this.

If you visit my website, about half way down on the home page are a list of symptoms of a vein condition, and one of those listed is skin staining. If you click on it, you'll be able to see all the blogs on this topic along with photos. Hope that helps!
