I'd be so awesome if we could pump lava under water in a controlled way like, this, but in a giant pool or something and people could make rock lava sculptures. That'd be badass.
"A HIGHLY SKILLED team" ... of my mother, my uncle, that stranger from across the street, my nanny, oh and me. Feels good to be out of the office for a few hours.
@itsVantage water has a massively high specific heat (when compared to other liquids and substances). This means it takes a lot of energy to heat up water. With the millions of gallons surrounding the lava area, the heat generated by the lava isn't nearly enough to super heat the water....esp considering that the lava hardens pretty quick.
@itsVantage It's probably because hot water is less dense than cold water, resulting in the hot water floating to the surface, replacing the cold water, forcing the cold water to go down to the lava and repeating.
@hobo12381 but the water takes the energy of the lava and hards the lava to lavastone and the energy gets into the water. this is one thing i remember physiks
like the butterfly effect, maybe this man is deciding the overall shape of a mountain that will be formed in 1 million years
Nah there will just be a weird long stone arm at the top
Marcos Pereira hahahaahaha
Real men sculpt in lava!
Hope he made it back to the surface, those balls of steel must have really weighed him down.
w
Am I the ONLY one who's freaking out over this? This is the most amazing video on UA-cam!
"so what did you do today?"
"nothing, just played with some 'hell hot' lava!!!"
"What do you do for a living"
"Oh I'm a lava sculptor"
He must have large buoyancy bags attached to him to support his cast iron balls.
Wow. Dude must be wearing the "Ove Glove".
Great vid, thanks for sharing!

The sound of it is infinitely fascinating to me.
The sound of lava under water when they move it is so badass...
haha that's awesome, especially when you pull the lava out with your hands!
If you work fast, is it possible to make crude sculptures?
shot in 1080i, uploaded in 480p.. great job!
Thats so cool it leaves a trail where ever it goes
This is just amazing! What a cool and dangerous job he has. Just think, the lava is approximately 1000 degrees F.
why do i love that crackling sound so much..

Looks like a new form of art has been formed...
So I'm guessing the water temp is higher close to the lava, but still bearable?
This would be an amazing concept for a videogame.
This is so satisfying to watch.
Is the water hot around there? Or does it conceal the heat pretty well
can anyone tell me what precisely is producing those sounds? fascinating
man u can make a beautiful sculpture with this
is the lava making the cracking noise?
Did you really have to keep the sound in the video when you uploaded it?
is the water warm next to that
Its like a bigger more badass version of the snake firework! :)
Was this recorded on a patato?
You gotta admit, that would be awesome to just see.
Do yall take divers on lava diving trips? I'm an advanced diver & would be into that.
That is so flippin' cool... but how hot is the water?
i wonder how hot or cold the water is.
wouldnt it be boiling hot down there?
isn't the water boiling from all the heat?
do you accept responsability if i go lava diving?
but will it blend?
what mod are you using for that scuba gear?
Is the crackling and creaking sound the lava? Pretty cool if it is! (Kind of creepy too).
How did it go?
but will it blend??that is the question!
@redReavir Such poetry, such beauty and insight.. and all in one sentence.
what does it look like today?
WOW that was badass pulling the lava out
So cool! like pulling taffy!
but can it blend?
Bur will it blend?
you swim with lava, but dont have an HD camera...?
wow this video is so cool! and at 0:40 seconds the lava looks angry
why dont the divers use buckets to get the lava?
but will it blend
@mOnKeYnAnNA no, theres a lot of heat but due to the pressure and sheer volume of water it wont boil
Just wondering, but does anyone know what's causing those loud creaking sounds? It's so strange. O.o
Wow that was amazing, must be fun, scary but fun!
that could be an epic sculpting technique
I like the way it sounds :3
Thats yogcast in real life?
Did they find Nemo?
Literally fire-bending.
well done bud and doug
is it wrong that i really wanted this to erupte while they were doing this?
They should make an underwater lava sculpture!
what are those gloves made of? Chuck Norris's hair?
NEXT LEVEL SCULPTURE MAKING APARATUS.
Except Lava is not fire. So I have no idea where you came up with that concept.
@ThePsYcHONetwork You mean cobble stone?
Didn't he or she caught a burn or something?
Is this like a new kind of hobby?
How does one become skilled at lava diving?
smoke in water?
So they poke lava.... cool??
how is this possible ?
shouldnt that water be boiling? :(
ever notice how the lava hurts for like a tenth of a second the becomes regular and part of the underwater volcano
its the next gen. of minecraft crafting!!!!
That looks pretty amazing!
I would like to do that !! So bad , it looks awesome
hows the weather down there? XD
@Letalisful But sir! It wasn't a lava source block!
what's mordor?
@itsVantage It's probably because hot water is less dense than cold water, resulting in the hot water floating to the surface, replacing the cold water, forcing the cold water to go down to the lava and repeating.
Okay, but where's the cobblestone?
that looks so fun!!
wouldnt you be boiled alive??
Where is this? I want to make a Nether portal.
@hobo12381 but the water takes the energy of the lava and hards the lava to lavastone and the energy gets into the water. this is one thing i remember physiks
why isn't he burning?
so hes a lava bender? :D *budum chhhh*
Constant flow of lava and we cant turn in into energy? Must be a way
Oh yeah welcome to lava diving a rare chance to see earth form underwater.
leanforward army!! is here!
How to make obsidian?
@itsVantage Well there would be some relative heat distribution
isn't that water cooking or something?
can u sleep on it?
how did he touch it even with gloves its still hot weard
That looks really fun
@hobo12381 and BTW the same thing goes opposite when you put salt into water its gonna get colder like -3°
Is it bad if my poop looks like this in the toliet...?
