Then I commented and thanked her for admitting what we conservatives have always said about the political left. They have no boundaries whatsoever, and boundaries are the essence of life as an independent organism, like it or not.
Torgo1969 thank you for sharing this. It clarifies a point in a story I am writing about someone who wants to be heroic, who cares about mankind but is not connected to people as individuals. He remains aloof and as long as there is unhappiness in the world he cannot allow himself to be happy, cannot share the happiness of others. It is only when he comes to care for the people around him and lays his life down for them that he learns what true heroism is.

Even though I've spent countless hours trying to help in any way I can, they still blame me, or someone else for their problems, and they don't fix them. Being stagnant, and then blaming every one else when you choose to have a crappy situation, isn't my fault, and just goes to show that you don't really want to put in the work that's needed to be happy.

Someone flips you off because you were forced to change lanes because of slow trucks and they were forced to slow from 90 mph down to 70. (I am not one for taking anyone’s right-of-way, away from them but I’m sure you understand the situation) I used to flip them off back.
