The only issue is the T7's are far and few between here in the States.
Mate, luvin ya vids, helped my decision to go a T7 instead of all the big ADVs......you will have to do a #5 now as you didn’t talk about the chain & sprockets, the cush rubber wear, and the head bearings..... can’t wait 👍
Bloody love this 4 part. Awesome testing, I keep looking towards the T7 coz I’m a blue boy forever and love this bike. it’s a perfect bike for me but questions to other bits you’ve solved mainly, no one puts up a group of tests in one place. Love the bash plate suggestions , love the brake suggestions , love the extra tank suggestion, needed for my extra kms, especially love the tyres because it’s the biggest piece of a puzzle to the best ride. Being non sponsored to the bike. Need a rack. The front bash plates, would love extra light suggestions. I don’t see the rally or enduro or whatever version I’ve heard. Australia seems to get a base model. Looking at the Honda etc you get options. Would love to see bash bars and light mods. Rather do it myself with your opinion rather than OEM.I do a lot of kms in the dark and would love drive lights and extra lights for lighting on my area on high speed where Roos are around. See a lot of smashed Roos and don’t want to hit one on the bike.

Thank you very much for all the information you are providing on the Tenere 700, very helpful to hear from real hard users. I'm eagarly awating your summary of the different suspension options before ordering some suitable hardware for me, even if I normally don't ride as hard trails as you've got down there.
We showed the Camel high Exhaust, the rally sweep bend, its in the video HONEST REVIEW Tenere 700 300,00kms. As for the ugly as all get out HP corse or Camel enduro bend theres no point testing them, there is no performance difference.
@@rideadvtoursandworkshop3178 Ah I must have missed that. However, the HP Corse high exhaust tucks the pipe up under the frame where, unlike the Camel high exhaust, you have no cutting of the hanger, so you retain passenger foot pegs if you wish and the hanger then acts as a "crash bar" for the pipe and exhaust itself. So in that regard, the HP Corse pipe is the better one, putting performance aside, as it's easier to install, hanger protection, and ability to return to stock if someone wishes.
@@donut3110 Last thing you want is that little piece of frame hanger taking the weight of the bike smacking against it. Protecting the exhaust? Crash bar? The whole point of the high exhaust is to protect the hanger not bending the bracket, the frame. Also you can run the rally sweep Camel exhaust and the pillion pegs.
Oh😖. It is morning on this side of the marble, so the coffee is flowing. I was also thinking about the Arrow exhaust, mainly for the price. But now I thinking I am going with the Camel-ADV high exhaust. I am curious if you guys think the high exhaust will work with your luggage rack? It looks like it will work, but I enjoy your take on it.
Hello RideADV team, on tenere700.net a good world T7 forum, lots of owners covered lack of grease in the following: a) head bearing - you mentioned this as well b) linkage bearings c) swing arm bearings Is there any danger in a basic owner / driver waiting until a bearing goes "notchy" OR is it really critical to saving big money on replacement parts due to bearings going bad. In other words, I believe I'll end up upgrading the rear spring and will lube all the linkage and bolt then. However I'm not sure I'm going to send in the bike to a dealer to Lube the head bearing and swing arm bearing as it would be very expensive where I live. My riding style is light at 80 street 20 off road. Would it be better to have the dealer Lube the bearings up front and (MAYBE SAVE MONEY ON POSSIBLE DAMAGED PARTS???) OR Wait until there is a problem and then bring it in (FIX AS FAIL) Thanks a lot for the great video. from CT, U S A
Hello Greg, thanks for the tons of feedback you give to the community. I also bought the Tractive front and rear suspension and have the same impression than you, very harsh off-road on the first 1/3 of the stoke, small rocks and steps, washboard etc. It feels like it's a very sport-road oriented suspension that has the first part of the stroke very firm to improve handling. Since I have already made the investment, the suspension guy that makes my enduro suspension is going to revalve them to suit off-road needs.
Love it. Keep it coming. This is a very anecdotal question, but if you had to pick a winner for most reliable bike you can buy, based on your experience, are you saying WR250R or T700? Well, then again I guess the Wr250R is now extinct. A moment of silence please...
Great round up...real world honest opinions based on real world testing! One day I WILL get over to Australia to ride!. Ps...do you see any merit in the high level exhaust for the T7...? Cheers, Steve
Loving these videos, super informative. If I remember right you guys run the Perelli Scorpion Rally, have you guys run into any issues running a 140/80r18? I see that many of these tires are ment for 2.5in rims which is a lot skinnier than the tenere rim and on top of that the tenere is a lot heavier. I'd love to run them but I don't want to risk unnecessary blowouts

Right before you covered why you didn't install the Camel ADV clutch arm....you mentioned 'y-guards' and how you don't like using 'y-guards'? At lease it sounded like that's what you said. Can you tell me what that is? Cheers
We dont have a rally seat yes, good question. I guess its probably because of seat height, a crew of shorts arses and being able to hold the bike up in the tougher offroading
Probably the most detailed series for T700....thanks for putting this together. Question - what’s your opinion on rackless luggage systems? Does going Rackless cause issues around exhaust bending in when bike is dropped?. Cheers
Do you have anything to say about the stock exhaust and specifically where it's mounted? That mount for the silencer is welded to the frame and I've heard of people bending the mount, which then bends the frame, and then the insurance looks at that as a totaled bike. Camel ADV makes an exhaust that sweeps higher up with some modification to the mount and it sounds sick. Have you seen that, do you have any opinions? With side luggage and side luggage racks, I'm sure it's less of a problem, but so many people won't need luggage racks on their everyday dirt riding, and many others will use rackless horseshoe style luggage and that can leave the exhaust exposed.
so im 85 kg with my gear on , my t7 is bone stock , i ride fairly agressive and i would like to hear your recommendation on front and rear suspension settings .. clicker settings ..any help would be much appreciated !!
