My heart hurts for you sweet lady. I lost my Mom almost 7 years ago(2 weeks before I turned 30) and everyone keeps saying it will get easier but I have my doubts about that..the pain is still raw and overwhelming. I used to can with her and my grandmother and now that they are both gone I come to your videos for canning advice since I can't call them with my questions. Thank you for being part of my "self-care" when I'm missing them❤
this made me cry. this is so moving.....i am so sorry for your losses and so honored watching my videos helps in some small way. this means so much to me, Kim. Thank you. We can "can" together, sistah! xoxox

Just watching this again as I found a used one for sale! Snagged the 915, 9 cases of jars, 6 boxes of lids, 1 box of lids and rings and a water bath canner with lifters, basket, etc. For $200! Sounds like a great deal to me. Lol!! Praying for your continued healing.
OUTSTANDING INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO. May I suggest that when you unscrew the wingnuts that you get into the practice of unscrewing the wingnuts they same way you put them on, OPPOSITES. This will help with muscle memory and get you into the practice of putting them on and off the same way. It is also a precautionary measure, just in case you still have a pressure within the canner. If you have a pressure still within the canner you would be releasing the pressure on one side; thus allowing the hot steam to come out from that side and scald you. Also, when you open the lid, you want to turn the lid towards the rear so as to allow the steam to go in the opposite direction from your face so as not to burn your face. Of course you knew that. :-)
thanks Cliff! great points! i do one at a time because the wing nuts are hot. 😆 if i did two at a time i know for sure i would burn myself!🤣 Grace is not my middle name. 🤣
@@TheKneadyHomesteader No need to apply Vaseline to the place where the wingnuts are. They never touch the metal, as there is a gap all the way around the lid when it's tightened correctly. Also, there is no need to use three inches of water if you convert to the petcock system. All of these All American canners had petcocks before they put the "Jiggler" devices on them. About 3/4" (three quarter inch) of water is all that's needed when the petcock is used, and it's silent. Many people still use the jiggler system, although it's the worst system to use. Converting the jiggler to the petcock is the best thing I've ever done to all of my All American canner/sterilizers. All in all this is a good video.
Nunya , pet cocks are not the best form to use. Reason it produces a steady stream of steam that travels a given distance, if you happen to get a body part in stream it will burn you. The jiggler method defuses the steam jet making it less of a hazard, eg safer. Why take my word for this I run boiler systems for more than 30 plus years, plus I have commissioned them as well. I found your tutorial on the All-American and was really excited - it is so explicit. I purchased a 921 this past fall after canning with an old presto for 25 years. I thought it was about time to come into the 21st century of canning. I can't tell you how disappointed I have been with this canner. I followed the directions that came with it and couldn't get it to seal. Over the past several months, I have watched several tutorials on UA-cam, paid attention to their directions and tips and "tested" my canner. always no luck. So I thought your UA-cam was more specific about the vasoline you used and where you used it - which no one else had addressed. So, now, I have just finished testing my canner for the umpteenth time - again with no luck. I still have leaks. I'm going to put my All American on the market and go back to a Presto - at least I know when it locks down, it's not going to leak. But I really appreciated your specifics, you do an excellent tutorial. Beverly Rampey, Elizabeth Colorado
I’ve had my All American canner in the box for 2 years because I was petrified to use it. This year, I’ve decided to buck up and can some beans. I read the directions, tried a test session and wow, did I miss a lot. I didn’t put any jars in it for the test, nor wait the 10 min. My brain was like, “there won’t be any water left”. I have an electric glass top range so I was nervous, and that was an understatement, about trying it. I watched your video and bam! Now I feel more confident in using it. My question for you is, the instructions say to use hot water in the canner did you use hot water? So glad you posted this. It’s going to be my “go to” tomorrow when I try my beans for real. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it works. Wish me luck.
I just want to say that I have watched probably a dozen different UA-cam channels for instructional information on the All American canner. You have by far been the best I have ever watched. Thank you for your help and information. God bless you and your family 💟
One thing to keep in mind is that while yes, these are a pressurized “bomb”, imbedded in the lid is a black rubber pressure release valve that will blow out if the pressure gets too far beyond 15 PSI and will immediately discharge pressure to avert a catastrophic failure. Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere in the comments. But yes, one has to use good common sense when using these. Great job in your detailed explanation of the All American, which are undoubtedly the best pressure canners on the market. Love your content, subscribed 👍
This is so perfect! I've been binge watching your videos...I may have posted on another of your videos that between you, Linda's Pantry, Prepper Poppourri and others, I got up the courage to try pressure canning. My All American 915 just came a couple of days ago! Can't wait to try it! I'm so sorry about your mom. I was 27 when we lost our mom almost 40 years ago. I still miss her every day. My words of wisdom to someone with a recent loss is that there will come a time when your memories bring you comfort instead of the pain they bring you now. You have such a kind heart. I came to your channel some time ago for your bread baking videos… and I’m staying because of your canning videos! My stage of development is progressing because of you and I thank you! Thank you so very much!
I can’t thank you enough for your detailed instructions in this video. I just received my pressure canner this past Christmas and it’s time to get canning!! I’m so glad I found your video . We’re having a canning gathering tomorrow and had no idea I needed to test it beforehand! After viewing this video I’m confident doing it tonight.
Thank you so much for this video. It explained so much! I had a major fail canning carrots because I didn't understand the importance of the lid being even. I thought it was but evidently it wasn't. It never came to the point where it vented in a constant stream. So I tried to put the weight on and quickly realized that might be a huge mistake. The part of the video where you show the 1-4 jiggles per minute was so helpful as I just couldn't figure that part out. All of us newbies appreciate your help. At least the carrots can go to supplement my daughter's dogs meals. So sorry for your loss I would like to say it gets easier but it just becomes tolerable.
Thank you soooo much for doing this video!! I watched several other videos and, being very new to canning, still didn’t know what I was doing. You took the time to make the process crystal clear and I now feel a whole lot more confident❣️
I have a “new to me” all American canner coming in tomorrow. I’m a newbie so I am so grateful for this video. Thank you as always Heather. I think you were the first person who got me watching any videos and made me think maybe I could do it. Honestly I had no interest until in canning until now. Thank you for convincing me to give it a go.
Thank you for making this! Just got in my new all American 921 in blue to can chicken bone broth! Currently waiting on it to come up to pressure! I’m trying this for my first test run! Thank you for giving me the courage to try it! ❤
My husband and I did this along side the video. Thank you. You helped us get started on this new adventure. I am looking forward to a lot of canning. I want to do your onion soup next.
I am receiving my first All American 915 canner this week. Thank you for taking the time to give a very detailed explanation of how to set up and test this canner. I just purchased a Presto canner and it leaked like a sieve. I just could not get a proper seal to do the task of canning. So I returned that canner and purchased the All American 915. The demonstration you gave seems to show that this new one will be a much more useful and reliable canner. Thank you!
Ahh friend. My heart goes out to you. Nov 5 was my Dad's anniversary. It's also been 7 yrs. He passed my first semester of nursing school. Your in my thoughts and prayers.
Hi heather just watched your video on the pressure cooker 915,may I say excellent presentation, this video has really helped me.and I'm sorry about the death of your mother,I to mourn my mother and shes been gone 35 years. September 3rd.she passed.1984 .Bless you and your family, with great respect heather you are an inspiration to me .cant wait to see more videos, although if possible I would like to see a video on bread and butter pickles, they are my favorite. Thanks again heather this is one I will write down for my recipe box.never stop doing videos the presentation is wonderful and you are amazing.
My new to me 915 will be here this Friday.. So excited and will be doing this test cycle the day it gets here.. All ready got the jelly here for the rim..
I'm so sorry, Heather. My heart goes out to you. I lost my Mom in April 2010, so iI get it. Almost 10 years have passed, and it has gotten easier over the years, but that doesn't mean I don't miss her like crazy. Love and hugs to you! Also, the more I see of the 1915, the more I am leaning toward purchasing it over the 910. Awesome video!!
This video was very informative thank you. I just received an All-American for my birthday and I am blown away. I can't wait to get it all set up and thank you for being so very thorough
THANK U SOOOO MUCH FOR THIS PRESENTATION 🤗💖 SO SORRY FOR UR LOSS, LOST MY DAD 11 YRS AGO AND MY GRANDMA 2.5 AND I STILL CRY SOMETIMES REMEMBERING THEM. THEY'RE IN MY HEART N MIND FOR FOREVER 😇 IT IS SAD BUT I WOULDNT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. I'D NEVER WANT TO FORGET THEIR SIGNIFICANCE! BLESSINGS TO U AND URS🤗
Thank you so very, very much. You helped me immensely in doing my first pressure canning with an All American. I was nervous. I canned carrots and needed a weight of 15 because of our elevation. You were such a big help. 😊
I'm buying this same canner. I've done water bath canning for 50 years. I'm just now getting the nerve to buy this one. My friend's canner blew up and she had beans and broken jars all over the kitchen and a big hole in the ceiling. I saw that happen when I was 33. I'm 70 now and I think I have my nerve up enough, lol. Sooo happy to find you!
Thank you thank you! I have my very first all American heading my way as we speak. You truly took my fears away with pressure canning watching this video. Now I’m actually excited to start!
Hey Heather 🤗 Oh my prayer go out to you my friend.🥰 I lose my dad last year and it been super hard .. I still have my mother . Don’t want to think about losing her some day .. but you did a fantastic job in this video... 🤗🤗🤗 Your will always be my teacher 🥰... I have water bath jam and jellies. And also dehydrated With your videos.. And now I have a all American canner .. I can see some of the mistake I made Thur this video... wow it been Very scary... but I’m not going to stop trying .. thanks you sooo much Heather By the way I’ m really enjoying canning up January... 🤗 and following along after I first watch the video.. Take care .. stay warm .. 🥰🥰🥰 Blessing 👩🌾
Enjoyed your demonstration of your new canner. Thanks for all the tips in safe canning. I have a 921 and excited to use it. I’m not new to canning but have had Mirro canners in the past.
I received an All American pressure canner/cooker for my birthday in May and today will be my first time using it. I am a little nervous as this will be my first time pressure canning too. I've watched a few videos over the last couple of days but have to say your video is by far the best and most thorough video I have watched.
Tomorrow I will attempt Test #3 to see if my canner will seal properly at the second wing nut left of the arrow. When trying to build up steam I see bubbling by that wing nut. The pressure gauge does not make it to 15 with the weight set at 15 pounds. I’ve got to be doing something wrong to not be able to get my lid to seal properly. 😞
Heather, this year will be the 2nd since I lost my childhood best friend of 15 years... from what I know and have learned from this kind of grief, and from others who are farther along in their journey with their grief, it’s that the weight of it never really changes. As time goes by, you learn how to carry it a little bit better, but some days the same weight of grief can feel heavier than the day before. Anniversary’s of birthdays, death days... holidays etc. are always more difficult. My heart is with you, and I hope that you found the peace you needed to make it through this day.
Great tutorial, I am following each step. It's taking a long time to get the pressure Guage to move up. I am hoping it didn't get damaged in shipping. Have the flame on high and it's been 30 minutes at least to get Guage up to 1 pound and no steady steam yet. Hope it's going to work out. Hope my stove has the Btu requirement. No leaks all good. Just taking long.
Heather, thank you for this video. I bought a canner and have not used it yet. I bought it at the beginning of the pandemic before they were all sold out. I read the instructions and felt a bit daunted. I also was nursing a back injury and was not in a position to try lifting heavy objects at that time. I have been wanting to try out the canner, but truth be told, I lost a bit of my nerve. Watching this video has helped me to understand how the canner works. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Off to get time Vaseline.
Ok now I want this canner 😊 Glad you took us step by step with one. They seem a little intimidating to me but I think I could handle it. Putting it on my growing amazon list, lol. I am a motherless daughter as well so I totally know what D-day is like. After 26 years of my moms passing, it still hurts but I will say the pain just little bit less. It never goes away, but I think about her and talk to her whenever I think of her. Yes, I still drop a few tears now and then even though so much time has gone by. My moms D-day is coming up in the 24th of this month. Hugs to you Heather 😊
Thank you so much. We are going to can from our garden harvest this year and I was afraid to use the All American canner. My grandmother had a pressure cooker explode and it scared me to have that happen. After your video, I'm not afraid and can't wait to start. You are a wonderful teacher.
my mother also passed on this date in 2014 ; my father also passed January 11,1980 so it is always hard for me on those dates. Sending love from northern Ontario Canada.
Sorry for your loss, we lost my husbands mom and then my mom 6 weeks later and then his dad 7 weeks after that...gosh that was a rough year....all we’re lost in 13 weeks....you are doing great and we love the 915 for the small batches on the stove.
Ps. Sorry for the loss of your mama. I had a friend tell me years ago That she felt alone in the world in losing her mother. I can’t imagine as Even if you have a husband and children...this is the one who nurtured You and you could do no wrong in her eyes. She is with you in your heart And you will probably notice a child that is kinda like her. You may Find yourself saying something she would say. Happy New Year and Keep you up-beat personality. Wonder where that came from and the strength You have? Hmm.
I understand how you feel. My father passed away seven years ago in the 20th this month. January is very hard for me. My dads birthday would have been on the 23rd as well. Also My favorite aunt birthday is on the 19th and she passed about ten years ago. We also just had to put one of our dogs down on the third. So January just is a sad month for my family. Please know that your mother has raised a wonderful and inspirational woman and she lives on through you and your beautiful children. Lots of love during your hard times. 💕
Seen soo many not follow these basic tips and/or can’t be bothered to read the instructions... would be very confident buying from you vs the soo many uninformed that sell these AA’s used on eBay 💯
Thanks so much for this video. I have an All American 915. Love it! Used olive oil to lube and never thought to use pet. jelly on all those surfaces! Sometimes getting that cover to perfectly seat was a frustrating issue for me. We have a propane range like yours and it is so easy to get the pressure up to 10 /11lbs ( for our region), reduce the heat and keep it on 10, with supervisoin...I attached the weight with a string in the hole opposite the 10 and attached the string to the handle, so I never lose it. You instruction is excellent. Wish I had this video when I bought the canner three years ago!
Thank you for sharing this! I'm interested in getting into pressure canning but a bit nervous. Videos like yours help me feel confident I can safely try pressure canning.
I'm doing self care by watching your video, because I just love you. I am into all the things you are, but it's so much more joyful to not only watch an instructional, but along with someone who is so full of joy and loves it so much. It's like the most relaxing thing I can do at nearly midnight when I can't be in the garden :) Thank you for putting yourself out there. ❤️
Thank you for this video ! So helpful, as I acquired one just like this one, at an auction. Been in it’s original box for years ! I will pull it out and get to canning with it. I’ve always used a presto. Love that one for sure. Thank you again!
Thank you for doing this. I just gave myself an early birthday gift. I do regular canning, but wanted to can other things that required pressure canning. This was extremely helpful!
Heather I can’t seem to get my All American 930 to come up to the 15 pound mark on the gauge. However the jiggler is going crazy and releases a lot of pressure for longer length of time. If I lower the temperature to get the jiggler to only jiggle 4 times a minute then the pressure gauge is closer to 10 pounds than the needed 15 pounds. I’m 2300 feet above sea level. I did notice on pressure testing the first time that I had a little bit of steam bubbling at the top of the canner. So I shut the stove off and let it go all the way down to zero pounds, waited 10 minutes and took the top off. So...today was test number two (I’m getting good at canning water ha). Followed all of the canner steps and even applied more vaseoline. I fired the stove up after placing the lid on and the gap between the top of the lid and where it makes connection looked great! Everything was tightened down nicely. The bubbling at the top seemed to happen at around 12 pounds and wasn’t as much as yesterday’s test run #1. Does this seem normal for a brand new canner? Or am I missing an important step? I’ll accept all answers from anyone that may have had this problem with their brand new All American 930. Thank you in advance! ❤️
Thanks for the wonderful instructional video. I have my presto and canned sweet potatoes this evening. I am saving for the 915. I have a 921 but by glass top cannot handle that. Peace and blessings to you on this day.
We were so sorry to learn of your Mother's passing, and it is so very evident that you loved her very much... Bless you dear heart... Thank you for sharing your new canner... We have never owned an American, but they look so nice... Your sourdough starter looks really good... I love the idea of a live video... I would gladly moderate for you if you provide me the times (etc) or just HMU on Facebook... Really appreciate you stepping forward through the pain to share with all of us... Peace.
I watched your vid seriously 10 times before I started my first water jar/canning ever. I have the 921 and freaked out bcuz my gauge wasn’t moving. Almost aborted the whole process but it finally moved after I put the regulator on. Not sure if I didn’t wait long enough or what but there was steady stream venting. Anyway, thank you for making me feel less scared. Not gonna lie, was was still a nervous wreck
I just got mine, played this video, rewind, play, rewind! Lol 😆 I'll be back! Did the test, my very old stove was playing with me. To hot, to cold... the regulator didn't finally start jiggling until I gave it flick spin. Ugh!
Thanks for the great video testing your All American Canner. My daughter-in-law just gave me hers and I haven't tested it. She did use it a few times and I'm excited to get it. She just doesn't can much at all so I'm lucky to get it. Thanks for the video.
I know it's been 6 months+, but really great video. We're looking at picking up an all-american canner, and wanted to see a walkthrough, and yours was perfect.
I love this!! I am still trying to get myself more into canning AND decided a few days ago to try again with a starter!! I havnt killed it so far!! (3 days in 😂) but excited!
A big YES to the sourdough videos! I've been wanting to start one but have been a little intimidated to try it. I want to try my hand at that and at fermenting things like sauerkraut and pickles when we move into the house we are building next month.
Hope you still feel your mother's love. 😇♥️ Thank you for doing this. It will be very helpful for all of us new to the All Americans. The time spent discussing getting the lid even was especially good. Thanks. So...what's her name?
I fired up my new All American pressure canner about 10 times, and it always leak out of the side. I even measure to make sure the Gap was uniform all the way around the lid. I was tightening the screws two at a time, like shown in this video. I would suggest that that is the correct way to initially set the Gap all the way around the lid. When I contacted the company, they told me to go around and tighten the screws one by one, and to go around numerous times. That eliminated the leaking for me.

I just bought this size after watching your videos, thanks for ask the tips! Valuable. I believe you’ve saved me some hardships. Thank you!
Hi
Having trouble fitting 10 pints in. 9 is a struggle. Any advice helpful. Thanks in advance 👍
You are an amazing teacher. I just got my 921 canner and will be canning this coming weekend. Your video is so helpful. Thank you so much.
Oh, she's so cute!! Now comes the best part. Canning. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for making this! Just got in my new all American 921 in blue to can chicken bone broth! Currently waiting on it to come up to pressure! I’m trying this for my first test run! Thank you for giving me the courage to try it! ❤
So thankful for this video thank you!🙏🏻💕
My husband and I did this along side the video. Thank you. You helped us get started on this new adventure. I am looking forward to a lot of canning. I want to do your onion soup next.
Praying you and your family UP, sweet Heather!
Thank you so much. This is my first time doing canning. I have watched the video many times to make sure I am doing this right before I do the test.
Your in my thoughts and prayers.
i am so very sorry, Jimmy. :( 7 years feels like forever yet like yesterday. It does not get easier with time. :(
I love my All American 915!

oh that's awesome!!!!! which one do you have? 921?
@@TheKneadyHomesteader yes 921.
I can't wait to get it all set up and thank you for being so very thorough
oh Happy belated Birthday!!!!!! I am so excited for you!

SO SORRY FOR UR LOSS, LOST MY DAD 11 YRS AGO AND MY GRANDMA 2.5 AND I STILL CRY SOMETIMES REMEMBERING THEM. THEY'RE IN MY HEART N MIND FOR FOREVER 😇
IT IS SAD BUT I WOULDNT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. I'D NEVER WANT TO FORGET THEIR SIGNIFICANCE! BLESSINGS TO U AND URS🤗
So sorry for your losses!
You got this canning queen!!!!! 👍🏻😄❤️
They have food grade lubricants that are used for things like the gears on your electric meat slicers.
Thank you thank you! I have my very first all American heading my way as we speak. You truly took my fears away with pressure canning watching this video. Now I’m actually excited to start!
Hey Heather 🤗
Oh my prayer go out to you my friend.🥰
I lose my dad last year and it been super hard .. I still have my mother .
Don’t want to think about losing her some day ..

👩🌾
this warms my heart, girl! so happy you are enjoying it!!!!! my day is friday, so be on the lookout for that video!😁👏🏻
Enjoyed your demonstration of your new canner. Thanks for all the tips in safe canning. I have a 921 and excited to use it.
I’m not new to canning but have had Mirro canners in the past.
I know its been a few years but i NEEDED this thank you!!
I received an All American pressure canner/cooker for my birthday in May and today will be my first time using it. I am a little nervous as this will be my first time pressure canning too. I've watched a few videos over the last couple of days but have to say your video is by far the best and most thorough video I have watched.
Thank you so much for this video!!😊 I just up graded my All American canner to a weighted gage . This helped me a lot. Keep up the great videos.
👍🏼👍🏼 the best tutor video I've ever seen. Hands down.
I’ve had this canner for years and finally need to use it!! Thank you so much for making this video!! Very helpful and concise!! Excellent.
Canning for the first time ,this video helped me so much I was having problems with the lid leaking steam
Thank you so much for this video. I'm using a pressure canner for the very first time. Such a valuable video.
I bought an All American Canner and can’t wait to use it, all because you gave me the confidence to go for it. You are amazing missy💕👍
Ok now I want this canner 😊
Glad you took us step by step with one.
Hugs to you Heather 😊
hugs right back at you, Deann. Thank you! And now, get you this canner! hahaha you will love it!
I'm so sorry for your loss. My Mom passed 11yrs ago and it's still tough.
💗
Great video. Thank you for taking time to create such detailed video for beginners like myself.
Thank you so much. We are going to can from our garden harvest this year and I was afraid to use the All American canner. My grandmother had a pressure cooker explode and it scared me to have that happen. After your video, I'm not afraid and can't wait to start. You are a wonderful teacher.
I enjoy your videos so much! I've just gotten a new All American 915 canner and your video is so helpful!
congratulations!😆👏🏻
Continuing to watch your playlist.
Yaye! I just think you are adorable and easy and delightful to follow for us newbies. Thank you
thanks Sarah! 😁 Happy Canning!
So looking forward to learning how to make sourdough starter! So glad I found you on UA-cam! Thank you!
thank you, Diana! :D
Just got mine ordered, so excited!!!!
And thank you for making this video!
my mother also passed on this date in 2014 ; my father also passed January 11,1980 so it is always hard for me on those dates. Sending love from northern Ontario Canada.
This was such a fantastic tutorial. Thank you!
Sorry for your loss, we lost my husbands mom and then my mom 6 weeks later and then his dad 7 weeks after that...gosh that was a rough year....all we’re lost in 13 weeks....you are doing great and we love the 915 for the small batches on the stove.
I’m so sorry! That must have been terrible!
It was a terrible year, 2018... lost my dad in 2015.
Ps. Sorry for the loss of your mama. I had a friend tell me years ago
That she felt alone in the world in losing her mother. I can’t imagine as
Even if you have a husband and children...this is the one who nurtured
You and you could do no wrong in her eyes. She is with you in your heart
And you will probably notice a child that is kinda like her. You may
Find yourself saying something she would say. Happy New Year and
Keep you up-beat personality. Wonder where that came from and the strength
You have?
I just bought an All American. Thank you for this information.
Sad day but full of happy memories too 😣☺ always good to have a teaching and how to use it vid so Thanks Heather xxx👍💕
Thank you for sharing this! I'm interested in getting into pressure canning but a bit nervous. Videos like yours help me feel confident I can safely try pressure canning.
:)
I'm doing self care by watching your video, because I just love you. I am into all the things you are, but it's so much more joyful to not only watch an instructional, but along with someone who is so full of joy and loves it so much.
It's like the most relaxing thing I can do at nearly midnight when I can't be in the garden :)
Thank you for putting yourself out there. ❤️
Thank you for this video ! So helpful, as I acquired one just like this one, at an auction. Been in it’s original box for years ! I will pull it out and get to canning with it. I’ve always used a presto. Love that one for sure. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for making this video. I bought the 921 over a year ago and I failed miserably during the test trial.
Thank you for doing this. Today is my first time pressure canning and this video has helped so much.
Thanks. I appreciate the tips and no nonsense
Peace.
mark and tina you are the best! i would be honored if i could make you a mod on my channel. can i give you a wrench? 😆👏🏻
Ugh!
Sorry for you on this difficult day 💜 I think you picked a pretty good distraction!
thank you. Yes, my Mom would have told me to can something! LOL
The Kneady Homesteader for sure 🥰
I want to try my hand at that and at fermenting things like sauerkraut and pickles when we move into the house we are building next month.
yay!!!! lets make sour dough together, girl!😆👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@TheKneadyHomesteader looking forward to it!!
Hope you still feel your mother's love. 😇♥️
Thank you for doing this. It will be very helpful for all of us new to the All Americans. The time spent discussing getting the lid even was especially good. Thanks.
So...what's her name?
Minnie! hahaha Minnie and Millie!
Thank you so much for making this video!
I have a 915 from the '80s. Never used it. Now I m really scared of it. A bomb 😱
I found this video very informative. Thank-you for sharing!!
Glad it was helpful! This made my night!!!! Happy Canning, Hannah!!!
Thank you for walking through using the canner I feel a lot safer lol😉
I fired up my new All American pressure canner about 10 times, and it always leak out of the side. I even measure to make sure the Gap was uniform all the way around the lid. I was tightening the screws two at a time, like shown in this video. I would suggest that that is the correct way to initially set the Gap all the way around the lid. When I contacted the company, they told me to go around and tighten the screws one by one, and to go around numerous times. That eliminated the leaking for me.
thanks for that info, Justin! I will definitely pass this along to anyone I know having the same issue!
