I'm english and I went on a school trip to nepal (im 14) around the same time as you for 2 weeks, it was so good. And we did the boat trip you were scared of too, tbh it was quite scary as we almost tipped the boat over and we were like 2 inches away from the water! We went to kathmandu and then trekked where we saw annapurna mountains at the top then we went to pokhara and also redecorated a school. Hope you enjoyed your trip

In my experience of Nepal tour... it's such a wonderful place to visit and the people are also friendly as well... it's great time to be there!! 🤩🤗
But just that I slightly struggled with their communication🤪
For conversation try to speak to the young people if you have question or ask young people to translate most of the young people understand and speak english but not the old people

I was on holiday in Pokhara in 2022. The same route from Street 15 to The world peace, including 1.5 hrs waiting there and also visited Gupteshwor Temple and Mahendra cave which is on the same way, the taxi driver charged me NRs. 2500. So, I think you guys had a great deal. Enjoy your Adventure.
