Growing up through the 70’s with your swim suit on , garden hose and some dish soap on a hot summer day we would wash the car. Nowadays technology has come so far, there is this towel and that towel and a hundred kinds of soaps. I watched several videos on how to get better at caring for my truck and just got more confused, until I watched yours. You didn’t assume everyone knew what everything was and explained it I appreciate that.
I’m glad you mentioned Maguiars Gold Class. That is what I use :-). I’m having my car Ceramic Coated next week in Houston. Your tips are definitely appreciated. Thanks!
love your channel very helpful . i plan on getting my car ceramic coated charging 1,200 is that high ? also can one use the touch less car wash soap they provide to clean the car ....I was told yes
Excellent videos about after care of ceramic coating. Also a through explanation of the 2 bucket washing system. I had my car ECP Plus Diamond Ceramic coating and it has and will rain on my car for 3 or 4 day after the coating has been applied. Do you think it will affect the ceramic coating? If I shouldn't wash the car for at least 7 days, what do I do with all the dirt that will be on the car in-between rains and when it stops raining and I have 3 more days to go before I can wash the car? Thank you, Mark
Mark Rivera had the same issue. I was told you can rinse the car with water but to go over with a damp micro fiber cloth after the rinse. Light to little pressure
Its better than a wash with brushes. However you don't know the ph level of the soaps being used to clean your car. Think of how strong some of the soaps need to be to remove grime without agitating the surface? I would recommend a hand wash with clean MF products, possibly a foam cannon, or best have a trained installer perform maintenance washes.
I live in Canada and we have extreme cold in winter months. Unable to hand wash due to subzero temps. What can I do to keep it clean as I want to avoid drive through car washes.
I use a high wax high sud soap to foam my truck that’s currently uncoated, but I’m having CSU applied at the end of this month. I’d prefer to keep foaming my vehicle for my maintenance washes, and there’s a Detail Garage/Chemical Guys retail store that’s local to me. Can you recommend any of their soaps that’s safe for a ceramic coating, or maybe another high quality soap from another brand that’s CC safe?
Horrible advice! It needs to be washed with a high quality soap then dried completely! Water spots that have bonded to the coating will need polished off or removed with a water spot remover.
I just got mer car back yesterday from getting ceramic coating done. Would it be alright to use one of those silicone car Squeegee to help take off ther water if you don't have a blower?
@@VisualProDetailing I used leaf blower and car looked good, but when sun light shined through garage windows, there was obviously a layer of dust or something that was still there. Will wash in spring. Thank you for reply!

Great video and very helpful, what about the ceramic Gwash W3 compare to Gwash w1 in general wash on the ceramic coated car?, thanks
Good video. Explorer was ceramic treated yesterday.
What about during below zero winters, not very practical here in Northern Vermont.

Is it ok to use touchless car wash to wash your car with ceramic coating .

every ceramic coating guy I"ve spoken with says DON"T use any car wash facility that isn't touchless

Touchless car washes are okay in a pinch. No matter how cold it is, get it as dry as you can either with air or microfiber or both.
How should i wash my ceramic coated motorcycle? Yamaha Nmax 155 from the philippines. Thanks

Okay 👍 " you are a Pro Detailer." No objections.
Can I spray water on my ceramic coat 48 hrs after being ceramic coated?
No Snow Foam?
How do you get rid of the water spots on the ceramic coat? My detailer told me to only wash the car with water.
Horrible advice! It needs to be washed with a high quality soap then dried completely! Water spots that have bonded to the coating will need polished off or removed with a water spot remover.
@@VisualProDetailing thanks for the information. I will be using your 2 bucket, no rinse method from now on.
Audi Etron with ceramic coating, do I need to do the foam rinse before washing?
Foam rinse is a pre washing tool to get excess loose dirt off. Helpful but not necessary.
IT WON’T WORK ON AN AUDI!!!!
Just kidding! The brand of the car doesn’t matter, sweetie.
Won’t my air compressor blow dirty liquid onto the vehicle?
Wouldn’t it be better to use four wash mits. One for each section of the car
Sure. 100 mits for each square are yard even better.
Let’s not go crazy here, shall we?

How do I get dust off of my car that has been sitting in my garage for a few months without driving it?
car was ceramic coated back in October.
Use compressed air or a leaf blower. If you don't have one give it a quick wash, coatings make washes super fast and simple.

@@396375a Yeah forced air won't always remove 100% of the debris, but it will make it manageable until you can do a safe wash on it. Enjoy your car!
