- Bought my first e-bike. This is the unboxing video. Not too concerned about the small dings and dents in the box, but there were a couple of big rips in the bottom corners. Also some scratching on the top of the forks, otherwise it was in good shape. I'll post a review in about a week.

I know these bikes are being sold direct from China but do you know if any American bike companies are importing in bulk? Having local service might be worth dealing with middle men, if they didn't gauge for profit. And if they buy by the container full they might get them cheap. It is a hansom bike but so is the Himiway Cruiser, or a bunch of other near clones. And I'm sorry to see you had some poor packaging, as well as rough shipping.
I believe Rad is an American company but manufactures in China, then ships here. Them and Himiway were on my list.
@@JimboP-Outside I find the RadRover are also good lookers, but the reviews aren't as good. They seem under powered with the same size motors. But then I don't think motorcycle speeds are necessary for a bicycle. I can't say I have heard a lot about their service. If you have any give a ways please sign me up.
Can I get a link to the stuff you bought for solar please. How well is it it working?
I have watched many reviews on the Magicycle, all good so far.
Good unboxing video. My neighbor and I each ordered one and they arrived earlier this week, also with similar scratches and damage to the boxes. For sure these bikes should be packaged much better than they are, that's on Magicycle. My decals were scratched so I removed them quite easily. Honestly those decals are so sticker-looking that they make the bike look cheap. Without them, the bike looks much better and elegant. Plus with all of the decals in place, the bike says Magicycle in 8 different locations! That's sooo tacky and overkill.
My neighbor's bike unfortunately arrived with a very warped front rotor. We reached out to Magicycle and spoke with Peter who had a very thick Chinese dialect, making it next to impossible to have an understandable conversation. We hope that using the chat feature and or email will suffice. BTW, the bike alarm is a joke, so cheap looking and doesn't function. But overall I'm optimistic I'll be happy with the bike. Time will tell.
Excellent feedback, thank you. I agree about the decals….I was thinking of removing them from the battery at least. I will say that I’ve enjoyed riding mine, other than the brakes. Enjoy! 👍
