I currently have a 1995 LT1 Z28 with the 6spd manual trans and the dude [ERIC COGGINS] who had it before me put J/B weld in the starter bolt wholes on the engine block, it got all the way to 60mph in first geer before my father shifted to second. Can you or anyone else who might read this help me out here and give me some ideas on what to do on fixing this problem. Was thinking about sleaving it or taping & rethreading it.
holding the break, the stock converter slows the engine down in gear causing the engine to die (i had to deal with that for a year on my car, was tolazy to pull the trans back out vs just going in neutral at a stop light)
For those who don't know, yes he does have a heavy case of surge from mixed components, he's also driving an automatic making it harder to keep the car running with that surge. 2 things can fix this. Better CFM matched components so it's on a steady feed or switch it to a Manual in the first place...

100 bucks says with the car like it is in that vid it would outrun your 95 trans am. its high performance cam just needs a stall converter instead of a stock torque converter

actually, it dies because it don't have the right stall converter
