Thank you for the tips! I’m growi basil indoors for the first time and I didn’t realize that the “wrinkly” leaves at the top were an indication of overwatering. I’m definitely going to let the basil dry out completely and get a little wilt before I water next time!
Thankyou, sir... thankyou. I'm from the UK and have a packet of sown seeds just starting to poke through in an indoor windowsill trough they're sharing with seven cuttings I took in January (shop-bought basil cost is a crime so I took cuttings to root in water)... & I wish I'd seen your vid sooner (my kids love basil). You seem such a lovely bloke (rare these days) so thankyou again for everything. Best regards.

Hi Chfristopher! You speak a lot about how important light is. I live in a north facing apartment so I would be very interested in a video that covers the setup and maintenance of LEDs for plants.
Hi Christopher, Thank you for your tips! This summer I have planted "some" basil seeds at home in pots based on your video, and now I have a nice basil bush. OK, it is not as huge as yours, but it is nice, it has very good and strong smell.. and amazing taste of course! Now I bought a grow light for them.. it is so interesting and exciting to see how they groww... :) Thank you! :)
I definitely concur, I've always planted pretty dense. But I love your idea about the bigger pot, I hadn't thought about that before. My only problem is I need to get a good light for the winter.

The weather has turned cool and leaves are getting dark spots which I presume is weather related. I will sure miss it this winter. I have ZERO luck growing plants indoors.

Can you please tell me the dimensions of both pots that you used, also exactly how long the larger of the two pots took to grow to that size. Thank you very much, keep up the good work, god bless you.

Beautiful health basil, I love it. Great in cooking and in Pesto. I love growing basil, trimming the plant and growing plants in my aquaponics setup. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this video. :) I just received some herbs as house warming presents, and my sweet basil has started to droop, but now I know it just needs a bit of water, maybe I need to water three times a week instead of two, but I will look out for yellow leaves on the bottom and wrinkled leaves on top, as signs of too much watering. As soon as you get a store-bought Basil mother plant, take and root cuttings from it. That way you'll ensure tons of Basil plants to work and experiment with!
Overwatering my basil is an issue that I have faced too. The leaves kind of get a few wrinkles and a bit blackish as well. Keeping them in the Sun too doesn’t help once it gets wrinkly.
