First Rides on ArieForce One at Fun Spot Atlanta, Best Coaster Ever? A Record Breaking Day for me!

- December 9, 2023: I was the last person on Earth to get on this ride, but it finally happened. And the hype for this thing is real. It's as great as everyone says, maybe better! I visited on a Saturday, and there was no line all day. I set a personal record for most rides in a day on any roller coaster, and I could have easily done more.
I arrived after a drenching morning rain, but the park was open, and the rides were running. Some parks like to close for the day if it rains in the morning, but Fun Spot Atlanta does not. All 3 Fun Spot locations operate the way parks should, and it's rare to have lines at any of them, which make them a dream come true location for people who just enjoy riding rides and not waiting forever in lines. But ArieForce One takes things to a new level, because it is objectively one of the best roller coasters in the world, and it's located at this low-attendance park on the extreme outskirts of Atlanta.
Others might have you beat, but 27 in one day is still quite impressive. All 20 seats in one day as well is huge!
Given the light crowds of this park, it's not hard to get a lot of laps. One guy was riding it for 6 hours straight, all in the same seat, never standing up. He said he's done that from open to close several times. This day, he had to leave early, which then allowed me to get my missing 2 seats.

I’m closing in on 150 rides on AF1, but I think the most I’ve ridden in a day is 15. That seems to be about my limit. A fantastic coaster for sure. My favorite element is either the outer bank or the arcade roll.

The strong airtime and intensity can make AF1 difficult to ride all day. That's why I kept taking breaks. I don't know how those guys would just stay on for hours. I was definitely feeling the 31. My favorite element is all of them. Those 2 you mentioned are incredible. I love the relentlessness of the quad down.

I did 38 on it earlier this year. I did 16 the first time I visited last year. Easy coaster to lap. You will feel it the next day but it is worth it. I like the back row, but I do like the front more than some of the other elite RMC's where I strongly prefer the back.
I returned for 7 more laps on my way home a week later, so I got 38 in total. My lap was somehow not bruised. It did ride amazing in every row, while some RMCs are significantly better in back. I almost decided to go to Carowinds on the Friday before this day. If so, I would have contacted you. I just didn't have it in me to make that drive on Friday, so I went back to Dollywood instead, then came here.
I tried for ten plus. But it broke down on my sixth run. What a ride.
That is about the only issue that can stop someone from getting 10+. Maybe you'll get there next time, but a few laps is better than none.
