You're right 210mm is more than enough for the most circumstances, but it's in combination with a 19inch front. I always have its suspension adjusted somewhere in the middle, I found a sweet spot. Too soft is unstable for me.. I have to add that this Motorcycle behaves generally very good, off-road any road, like a small "Swiss army knive" . What's your opinion on your tyres for this bike? @aristidis9145 for the tyre, I'm very happy with the Pirelli Scorpion STR Rally, I had a set on previous bike, my 2019 Kawasaki Versys 250 tourer, and since then they became my favorite adventure tyre, and they perform perfectly on the Maverick 500, very good compromise for great grip on asphalt and good traction on dirt and sand, the only weakness would be mud. I know nothing about the Dunlop Trailmax

Ground Clearance is actually better than most adventure bikes, but suspensions were set way too soft, my mistake
