Just a word to Meinl: You definitely picked the right guy to sponsor. He may not be the biggest baddest drummer or play music that reaches everyone's preference, but DAMN he makes those cymbals look and sound incredible.

They're just variations on quads but played with a triplet feel. So like 'SN-SN-SN-SN-Ki-Ki-To-To-To-To-Ki-Ki...' SN=snare, Ki=kick, To=tom Getting it to sound smooth with a triplet feel is probably the trickest part tbh, not that hard though.
Amazing performance!! Anyone know if there is a name to the fills that he does a few times in the first 45secs. I would really like to work on that but I don't know what to look for. Thanks!!
It sounds like a series of 5, 6, 7 single stroke rolls just mixed up between the toms and cymbals, if you sit and try the different rolls I'll bet you can figure it out pretty well!! :-)
