Got my last part, the bulb, came about an hour ago and and I've already taken a rough few pics as I need to go to work soon. And let me tell you Caleb, this is the most amazing setup you've give us beginners/newbs. It is absolutely amazing. Even on the quick shots I've already done, I can see the potential. With a good camera, oh man ... I'm in heaven. This weekend I'll have a some better quality shots to use on my own website. The only thing I regret, is that I live in Japan and wasn't able to use your links. Anyway, many, many thanks from a big fan!! This is truly an epic DIY idea!!

Your videos help a lot in the field and studio. For instance, your video on how to light people with glasses helps me a lot! Keep making videos like these, you inspire us to think frugally creative! Yesterday I tried a shot with a 24W LED bulb fitted on my bedside reading lamp. I used two tissue papers as diffuser, and rubber band to hold them to the head of the lamp. This afternoon I tried another shot with 2 LED 23W bulbs for lighting. They aren't professional, but they did the job pretty well, and they cost me just about $15-20 in Indian money.
Since you make documentaries as well, could you please share with us about how you light your subjects while you're interviewing them at their place. How would you suggest to go about it as a one man documentary filmmaker?

Do you think it's possible to have two ot thees setup's, one on each side. so it becomes a big softbox? Right now i am shooting small products in a square box with lights on the side. I just would like to replace itso i can shoot bigger items also. But maybe i should have both in the end! what you think?

Looks gorgeous but are you using a grey or a black backdrop? In the beginning of the video it's grey but by the time you're ready to shoot it's black. Is this because the room is completely dark? I tried that but I'm still getting a grey backdrop.
