Your dolls are dressed so impeccably I love the mego cher dress on Tropical Miko she looks fierce! The furniture is to die for I miss when everything wasn't pink it looked so neat. Great review!
My sister had that dream house and it came with two additional triangular pieces of floor that gave it more area for all the furniture. The one she had came fully furnished too.
Funny you mentioned how this dream house would make a neat gift to wake up to for Christmas... I woke up one Christmas to the 1985 version of Dream House sitting at the foot of my bed hidden under a lace comforter. I was probably about 11 or 12. It was a second hand house, with no furniture, but I didn't care. Had that house into my adulthood when it was accidentally left behind in a move. 😢 And yes, I want one like it again some day. ❤

OMG! U have Barbie stuff from my childhood! ❤️ But some things are from the early 80's not late 70's. I perfectely remember this house but never had it and it's from 1982, while instead I had the Town House all made of cartboard with three floors and the pull string elevator. Some of these houses where made in the 70's while others in the 80's with different colors. Mine was the third edition from 1982-84 with orange elevator, white plastic columns and the cartboard background printed on it had drawings while others, like the one of my friend with yellow elevator and orange plastic columns had pictures instead and it was the second edition from 1978-82. Years ago I gave away my Barbie Town House to a lil girl and now I regret it so much! I'm searching again for one so to get back a house to my childhood and collection barbies, as well I'd like to get a Dream House too, but the pink and white edition from the 80's, cuz I love pink! Btw I even had the dining room with the blue and baby blue table and cabinet but I exchanged it with my friend for an ugly and shitty cartboard kitchen I was in love with at that time (I remember my mom got upset for this and yelling me if I was mad giving away a good toy for a shitty one lol), then I even had the green living room with the 70's design, and the green tv u have is part of that set, who even had a real lamp working with batteries, but it was the first thing who got broken (a lil friend of mine while playing crushed the lamp by accident walking on it). Then in the erly 80's they re made some of that furnitures in pink, my sis had the same living room I had in green but in pink, as well as the tourquoise bath tub I had was re made in the 80's in pink. I even had (and still have) the toilet (with my pal friend we put some chocolate inside to make Barbies poo XD) with the small cabinet and the bed with the wardrobe, the bed side table (with the lid broken) and the stool from the vanity table, but my mom threw it away cuz it was broken. Now I got a small kitchen from the 80's and I love it so so so much!!!!!! It's in cream white with pink details and I'd like to get even the refrigerator from the same collection (who's from the Sweet Roses collection), the Dream Kitchen from the 80's too who had my friend and I remember I was so in love with! I totally agreen that today's Barbies are ugly and their accessories are made of shitty quality without the care for details like in the 70's and 80's! Now I'd like to restore all the old stuff from my childhood and get back the missing parts. Thanx for sharing ur amazing collection, and yeah in the 70's Barbie's stuff were made in every color not all pink.
I have this exact dreamhouse, my mom saved it from her own childhood and had it handed down to me so I grew up with it(: There was also a set that had several floors and a string elevator from the 70s, don't know if it can exactly be called a hotel but I remember it was made out of sturdy cardboard(?) and plastic
That house its really hard to get in good conditions ,i suggest you move the house from the window, it will be damaged by the sun, the color of the roof fade and maybe get cracks on the pole covers cause the age, this is a treasure!!!! here in mexico is hard to find ,sadly ebay sellers do not ship to my country.

I also have the Dream Cottage, but mine isn't in as good condition (my sisters were crazy with their toys long before I was alive! *sigh*) Do you have the Dream Pool? By the way, if I did not say it, I got the cottage so I would have somewhere to put the extra furniture! The toilet should make a flush sound with water in it. When u lift the lid. I had that toilet. N the tub in the cottage. Can fill n drain. They didn’t come with house.

Hello sweetheart, I know this video was a long time ago, but I just wanted to let you know that I had the same issue with my fridge and I took a sewing needle and put it inside and cut the part that sticks out off and it worked like a gem it is like new. Thought that could help if it is still an issue :)
I have the orange Dreamhouse oven. Mine is missing it's racks. I have the pots and pans to it too. I have the pots, wine, pitcher, cups, and plates to the blue hutch you have, but not the hutch. are there white cups with handles that go with the hutch too? I have one and trying to ID it.
I would be EASY to fully extend this house -- just get rid of that chest of drawers. You don't need it, or if you do, you could buy a piece of plywood that matches the footprint of the extended A-frame house and put it on top of the chest.
I have the yellow bycicle - one of the few things they sold also in Germany. Your beautiful cottage did not make it here :-) Ah, and the cabinet we had too, I had one in pink.
I got my daughter this dream house. She had it for year. We were playing dolls, not sure how it happen & I'm embarrassed to say I tripped & fell on it. Butt first. Just sat right down on it & yes it was destroyed. My husband & my boys laughed. Daughter wanted to cry. by the end of the day they start calling me Godzilla. SMH.
This was made even better by pretending it was being narrated by Jeff Goldblum. Seriously glad I always had my cousins as a reason to play with Barbies as a kid.
