The 80s sure served us with gorgeous Barbies! My favorite time period is probably 1979-1982 Barbies. I adore 1979 Black Barbie and 1979 Hispanic Barbie was well! Two of my favorites!
Oh that’s easy for me. The 80s! I loved the fashion, jewelry, face molds. The pink box they came in with all the cool artwork brings back memories. It was all the dolls I had as a child. Now for the collector dolls the early 2000s-2010. Once again the quality can’t be beat. When you stand a collector doll from 2002 to now side by side it’s kinda sad.
I love the 80s faces. Since I could not afford their fashions as a child I would have loved to get some packaged superstar era dresses. But they are so extremely expensive, especially the ball gowns :D
15:19 i have all 4 both white and black Dream Glow Barbies and Kens . i got both from several collections because i get obsessed . i like every era of Barbie & friends & family. BTW thew 65th anniversary dress looks fab on a #1 doll .
Great doll collection. Very impressive. I had some of these dolls many years ago. I recently purchased a couple of 1980's maxie dolls. Both are in good condition.
My favorite decade of Barbie is the '80's mostly since that was when Mattel created Crystal Barbie in 1983 and Peaches & Cream Barbie in 1984 and also Western Barbie with the winking eye in 1980. But on a side note there was Superstar Barbie in 1977 and there are some beautiful Barbie's these days in modern times also. I see you kept your Mego Farrah Fawcett doll new in the box which is probably best since you already have one loose from box and the doll is just a display piece so she displays nicely in the box. Especially since she is wearing a white outfit so she will stay cleaner inside her box anyway.
9:09 Chystal Barbie originally came with the exact same Jewlery set as Pink N Pretty . 10:51 the brown issue is rubber band disintegration from what had been on her hair . it will wash out . 11:29 she will work but you have to wind her arm . that happening means they have been turned the wrong way which means the arms have to be reset . take the right arm and bring it up and back and all the way around back to the front you will hear it wind . the silver belt will hold the skirt .14:22 not just the side all around the middle of her hair. it will wash out of hair and fabric with soap & water .
I think the brown spot on the Magic Moves is from the melted rubber band that is still on her hair…you should remove them…and I also think that there’s a way of rotating her arms in such a way to fix her mechanism…maybe there’s a tutorial here on youtube…
Awesome video! I love it when you bring out the classic 80s ladies.
Thank you!!

Thanks. We agree. And about Farrah yes for now I'll keep her in the box.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try those.

Thank you. I did remove the pieces still in it. I'll try resetting her arm.
