Superstar barbie to me was a mother of a lot of kids who lived with her husband, ken with that blue outfit, in a van. They were a poor, but loving family. I spent hours in that drama every day. The boy next door made us kick ass campgrounds in the yard. It was my own soap opera.
Fantastic video! Fashion Photo PJ was my all-time favorite of the ones I had growing up. I still have her, but her arm is broken. I’ve never seen Yellowstone Kelley, but I do have a paper doll set of her. Looking forward to a video of top Barbies from the 1980s!
Depending on how your doll's arm is broken, it might be something you can fix. SuperStar arms can be difficult to switch out, but it can be done. Finding the right skintone on a donor body with a good arm can be a challenge, especially for Fashion Photo P.J. This is the orangey-pink that was only used in the late 70s and early 80s, but if the doll's left arm is the broken one, Western Barbie and Kissing Barbie make good arm donors.
Fashion Photo PJ was my favorite too because she was brunette, which was rare for 70's Barbies. I just wish there was also a Superstar PJ with a sapphire dress in the same style as the pink Superstar Barbie dress. What I found really hard to do was getting the pants or the straight skirt onto the FP dolls. They were so tight!
@@Siansonea this is exactly the kind of video format I was hoping to find someday. Of course, part of me was screaming “sweet 16”, “ballerina Barbie & Cara”, “European equestrienne”…!! But on the whole I was delighted to see such precision of these beautiful dolls
@@Frenchmisto I probably could have populated this list with nothing but Cara, Christie and P.J. dolls. :D I'm looking at the 80s right now, and it's going to be really hard to narrow it down to ten. And I do like the European Equestrienne, but I only have the one with the SuperStar face, not the TNT Barbie face, which is the one I think is the prettier of the two. Of course, I love the one with the SuperStar face as well. And Hawaiian SuperStar Barbie would have probably made this list as well, but I don't have that doll. 😆
@@Siansonea having grown up in France, I was very lucky to have access to both of these dolls, and funny enough, I have kept them both along with some others from my childhood days
Well, I was mangling my dolls during the 70s, all of these were acquired many years afterward. But all that mangling was good practice for my restoration skills that I learned along the way.

Superstar Barbie is the best and most iconic Barbie of the 70’s imo.
I love your videos so much for the vintage Barbies they are so much better than Barbie of today! ! Sophia Maria

Barbies were so much prettier back then. And their fashions so detailed.
Top Shelf! Well Done!
I have Malibu barbie Christie and pj they are so iconic
I love the 70s Barbie 💖 I didn’t knew about Kelley I’ve never seen her before
Glad you made a channel your the only one that knowledgeable about Barbie 🎉❤
影片很實用,非常喜歡。現在的芭比娃娃很漂亮,但是更喜歡早期的芭比,耐看又有韻味❤
Great video! Really nice choice of dolls (so glad dramatic new living Barbie and quick curl Cara have made the list…)
Please carry on the amazing work
Thank you so much!

@@Siansonea about the 80s video… if it’s too hard to narrow it down to 10, what’s stopping you to make it a top 15 or 20?
Great video
Live action PJ was my most favourite doll of all of my barbies.
I love your dolls 🌷💖
Quick Curl Barbie FTW
I still have a Malibu Barbie body with the blonde P.J. head!
Malibú 1971, Miss América Barbie 1972, Supersize Barbie 1977, Beauty Secrets 1979....on the list....
Always wanted Beauty Secrets!
I had superstar Barbie ❤
Great views of them. I was mangling Hot Wheels during these years.
