You are an absolute Godsend!! I have 2011 Carav. Same thing only mine was the harness lever latch was open! Shut lever and I'm back!, all because of your tip!! God bless you!!, Doug.

I agree with Douglas. I have an 09 routan that popped a no bus light. Went right to thinking the cluster was bad then started disconnecting all the modules with no luck. Last resort I pulled off the passenger kick panel, as you did, and found the harness connector back there was loose. I had the evaporator replaced over the summer and the guy broke the retaining clip putting it back together. So although it wasn’t the same problem, watching your video put me right in the problem area. Thank you. And I’m pretty sure that if I bought it to a “professional” I would have been going for a harness on top of about 10 hours labor. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Best way to solve this type of problem is to get rid of any vehicle made by Daimler and buy a Toyota. My wifes 2014 town and country does this occasionally. When I get it fixed I'm trading itt for an Odyssey.

I’m going through this right now. What cause it to loose connection if I had no problem with this for three years. Just got the oil change last week. A week later I get “no buss” so first I’m disconnecting the battery to try and reset the whole system. If that don’t work I’m going to look at the wires on the passenger side and see if I can find a problem there

Good info but maybe let the professionals do the car repairs from now on

@@PhoShoTheatre because he replaced the tipm when he didnt need to and wont get his money back for it. Cool he found the problem, but he fired the parts canon and lost. A pro would know what to do. Does that answer your question?

@@mikesabin8568 even a pro would have had a hard time finding this issue. Maybe they would not have replaced the TIPM module but for sure they would have had a hard time finding this issue which would be fine consuming which the costume would get charged for and would not be very cheap.
A while back ago when I had less experience about cars, my ex wife took her car to a mechanic shop about some issues with the cluster, they charged her 1000 thousand dollars to supposedly reprogram the cluster. 4 days later it was doing the same thing again. She took it back and they were asking for another 600 dollars to replace the cluster.
Does it make sense to you why people rather throw parts at their cars to try to fix it and to learn something new rather than taking it to a "professional" and end up paying more for it?

@@jaspernemesio3816 problem with what you are saying, as I stated before, is you are not learning anything…
The guy in this video is clearly going with what he read on the internet and “feelings”.
The only way to know what you are doing with bus problems is using a scope. If you have proper training on this system it can be hard yes, but throwing parts that you can’t replace and reading random things on the internet learns you nothing….
There are some great places on the internet to learn bus can communication problems, but this video isnt it. This guy is super nice and trying to help, but i can tell he is guessing, hence the tipm. I know when someone knows their stuff on cars and this aint it

Everything is effected the lights the radio the heater / ac fan ..
    The cigarette lighter power..
    Everything..
    And it happens randomly..
    Weather you're moving or not..
It just every now and then ..

Check your battery cables and inspect your fuel pump fuse. If the fuse is old or worn - replace it even if it is not blown. I just found out that fuses can go bad and they can act sketchy!
