The fact that Stewart is not a gardener and asks so many questions and sees things differently makes you explain to and teach us all so much more thoroughly! And his delight in the learning and discovery mirrors ours! Don't change that dynamic!
@@annjohns9939she has told us over and over again that she wears shorts UNDER HER DRESSES! Get with the game. She knows what she is doing. Here cute shape makes everything she wears look wonderful. 24:24
How could we be tired of this beautiful front yard! ♥️🌻♥️I’m in shock that this 3 month old garden looks like it has been there for years! The flowers are just beautiful and this garden has caused me to hit pause on my own front yard plans! I am rethinking my direction because I’m so in love with it!♥️ thank you! Would love to see a overhead drone shot of it!
There should be a gardening book titled “While I’m down here” a true gardener knows that you see a weed and lean over to pull it and while you are down there you see something that needs to be dead headed and next thing you know it is an hour later and you have a pile of things you did while you were down there 😀
It is good Linda to see you using your basket to put your weeds and waste instead of throwing them on the ground, that way you can save time and not go back for them!!!! 😊😊😊
Have you ever thought about having people send in photos of design problems they are having in their garden? Advice from Linda would be so valuable to a lot of us. ❤ your new garden is so beautiful.
I think moving the butterfly bushes will create more balance. It will also allow the planter to be seen a bit better - I like its architecture in the garden. Just like you, I enjoy checking on my garden each day, and if I ever forget to bring my pruners or basket along, I regret it. It's amazing how fast it transforms from one day to another.
Love how you show us how you cut back and your out-loud thinking as you work AND love how cute you look! You have the best style:garden, clothes, decor! Fun day of watching. ❤
I went to a fabric store and bought eyelet trim to sew on the bottom of three dresses that are too short for gardening after seeing 10 minutes of your video! Thanks. I am younger than you are. I don’t squat or bend over in short dresses for some reason. My husband and I watch you, and this lesson was all about the dress! You have a wonderful garden!
Oh Linda, I absolutely love your dress! I too wear dresses in the summer and sometimes I wear bloomers underneath. Brie the Plant Lady also loves dresses. It’s so much less constricting than shorts or pants. Your garden brings so much joy to many. I also love your hair styled like that. Thank you.
I can't thank you enough for being a very positive influence on me and my plans to improve and simplify my front garden, which gets full sun. I'm beginning to believe that our weather here in my Southern CA area (near the beach) is going to be warmer than it has been for years, so it's perfect timing. I'm always open to relocating for the sake of the plants, and thankfully have areas all around the house to move things if it would be better for them.
Linda, you put on a comfortable house dress and look so amazingly beautiful (not saying you look a million bucks but you're kind of up there). That's your magic. Your garden journey is amazing to watch, too. Thank you for sharing with us.
I agree completely about the house dress and how she looks amazing. I garden in old grubby clothes and come in looking like I played in the mud -- my neighbors probably wish I would garden in style.
Yes, I do think you need to relocate a couple of the buddleia to the empty corner and I think that corner needs something yellow in it like the other corner. I love your window box.
Linda, love your videos and of course your style is so chic! You asked if we ready to see more than the front landscape and YES that would be a nice change. Please don't think I'm being rude but you asked and I responded.
I just love you and Stuart love the dress was afraid you was going to bend over to far behind.learning a great great deal from you glad I can go back and look at the names of the plant
When you film your wonderful garden... I feel like I am right there with you...soooo magical...then realize..I have to come home. You two are so calming.. Love it ❤
i can't garden right now. Had big plans to get my garden in shape before the low AZ desert heat above 115 degrees hit us. Then I fell and broke my ankle two weeks before I started radiation and chemo for throat cancer. SOOO I love everything Linda and Stewart show us. My garden only gets watered now. I will be healthy enough to attend my garden by the time we get cooler. Can't wait!!! Lol
I can't believe haters would comment on you and Stewarts back and forth. I love your relationship , and think Stewart is now part of this blog. He's funny and interested and asks questions some of us are thinking at the time. I did think when you were originally planting that things were very close, and would soon diminish negative space. I just didn't think it would happen so quickly. But I must admit... there is no way I would be bending over in that dress on such an exposed corner lot.
I never tire of the cottage garden. It’s truly inspiring. I do, however, miss the old walkabouts when you would just quietly inventory your garden and share your thoughts. I’m not complaining- just stuck in my ways. 😊 Thank you for sharing your process.
Beautiful garden You are truly an amazing lady and Stewart is a great business partner You two make a great team The only thing I think I am missing from your last home is how your garden had beautiful hidden places in the backyard, I used to love that so much. That effect in your garden is what used to give it a very interesting unique look. I hate to say it but I feel this one has a very traditional garden look, i can see all your plants from any angle from the street Hope the backyard garden could have a more walking hidden places and more interesting landscaping
Is was magical wasn't it ?! It held such a quiet nuance , it hummed with sophistication yet whispered of whimsy and enchantment 😌 I think it was the energy she put into it, the hours spent in quiet contemplation with God that gave it that "hidden" feel . I am most certain the back garden will indeed be as such here . I think she designs the fronts of homes for pleasure to the on lookers , like we all do ... But that sacred , magical hideaway is tucked away from prying eyes and that is why she wants to do it slowly, enjoy herself , feel the space before it unfolds ... I can already feel it starting to humm and whisper , in the last video she did back there ... As excited as I am for her to get back there and start , I so eagerly anticipate ...this fall when she starts , getting to watch it with pumpkin spice cappuccino, a fuzzy blanket , all the smells of Fall 🍁🍂☕🪵 it is going to be so much fun !!!
You should look at incorporating santolina within the landscape somewhere, love sun and drought tolerant.. stunning in lime green or grey foliage .. gorgeous dress 👗 gorgeous garden 🪴 gorgeous Linda .. love you .. sending hugs from the uk 🇬🇧 xxxx ❤
Beauty everywhere you turn. Thank you Linda and Stewart for sharing your day. I am learning about so many new plants. I must say, that dress is perfection. So summery and classy.
Thats a good idea to move the plants to the area where the plants are sparce. Like you said, the one area is crowded.. Your garden looks so beautiful. It looks lovely.
Linda, your garden is gorgeous!!! It looks like you planted it years ago. It’s amazing how mature it looks. I’m still so thrilled I found your channel during Covid. You and Stewart brighten up my day! ❤️
I could never tire of seeing your gorgeous garden, Linda. 🌻I look forward to seeing and hearing from you and the funny and mysterious, Stewart. I can see changes in your beautiful garden from week to week, and I find the way that you garden is in a similar to way to me! It made me laugh when I saw you use the scissors in the ground as I do the same kind of thing! 👌When you have been gardening most of your life, improvisation becomes your friend. Even a stick has been a useful tool for me.👍😄Thank you for your encouraging garden tips for sharing your journey. I can't wait to see your ideas and changes in your backyard. So exciting. 🌱🪴🌹🐞🌳🐢
Linda. I have been a viewer for a long time. I LOVE Topiary, Boxwoods, Standard Roses or any plant pruned or grafted into a Topiary. That is why you inspire me. How you got that yard done so quickly and beautiful amazes me. Good Job!!!!
Linda, what will happen as your trees get larger? Will your sun loving plants be okay with the resultant shade or will you have to rethink and replant the front garden? Love your dress, by the way! So cute!
😁😀Just as mad Linda, I go into my small garden everyday to look and fiddle a bit. I just luv it and don't care. Thank you for sharing, it's always a joy. Happy Thursday here from sunny Vienna Austria .💚🌞
I’ve used purple ball basil a lot this year in my landscape and I love it planted en mass. It’s habit is not as tight as the boxwood basil, but it’s wonderful in its own right.
You look so adorable today I live your fashion sense. Your garden is growing so beautifully you put so much love into it. I am definitely getting a education
That outfit just made me giggle! So cute!!! 😂 And your yard looks absolutely beautiful! I have to keep adding remarks! That windowbox is ........PERFECTION!!! ❤
Wow, your garden is looking great in your summer heat. I agree with you on moving the butterfly candy bushes. Love how you just move things about if needed! You look so summer today, lovely.
The fact that Stewart is not a gardener and asks so many questions and sees things differently makes you explain to and teach us all so much more thoroughly! And his delight in the learning and discovery mirrors ours! Don't change that dynamic!
I’m newer… who is Stewart? Love him
I love Stuart’s observation that he paints with light and Linda paints with color. What a wonderful observation. Great combo for the gardening life.
Your decision to move the pots in place of the pineapple finials is a great idea!
Quote from Stew, "Yeah, you may have to 'Vanna White' it" is my new favorite saying. This made my day!!
Yes!!! 💯 ❤😂
Garden stuff aside, you have GREAT style. Everything you wear is so chic.
❤ that dress!
Her asymmetrical skirt from last week was beautiful, too!
Dress is cute but to short to be bending over in the front yard !!! Yikes!!
Yes I agree. Too short
@@annjohns9939she has told us over and over again that she wears shorts UNDER HER DRESSES! Get with the game. She knows what she is doing. Here cute shape makes everything she wears look wonderful. 24:24
I love Linda's walkabout Wednesday videos!

Yes, to the drone view.

Not tired of it at all! It's so fun and educational to see how its all growing!
Everything looks fabulous and I love Stuart’s sense of humor snd lightheartedness. 😃
I love seeing the front as it grows in. What a testament to those Southern Living plants, that they are growing so quickly in the exposed heat.
It is good Linda to see you using your basket to put your weeds and waste instead of throwing them on the ground, that way you can save time and not go back for them!!!! 😊😊😊
☀️The blue dress is adorable. Hubs should be taking you out for cocktails in that dress.🍹🍹🍹🍹
Cute dress! Love Dusty Miller's color. Garden looks heavenly, Linda!
That is why I watch your channel is to see your beautiful garden . Please so not stop showing us your front garden ❤
Have you ever thought about having people send in photos of design problems they are having in their garden? Advice from Linda would be so valuable to a lot of us. ❤ your new garden is so beautiful.
Linda, being on a drip system helps tremendously on keeping your flowers & plants looking fresh.
I think moving the butterfly bushes will create more balance. It will also allow the planter to be seen a bit better - I like its architecture in the garden. I think you are blessed and smart to be concentrating on just the front yard this year. You have had a big year.

i'm addicted to wednesday walkabout. gets me through the week. thank you.
It will really be nice to see the evergreen bone structure of the garden this winter
!
Love 💕 the dress Linda , so light and youthful
Everything looks beautiful 😍 I think the overcast weather really makes for great filming too.
Yes relocate! The front garden does look beautiful.
Gardening time is time well spent for health and well-being, the garden looks happy and beautiful just like you.
Lovely summer outfit Linda!
Of everything I like the baskets the most.😊
I am amazed at how fast everything is filling in. Your garden inspires me ! BTW, cute dress!
We never get tired of you in your garden ❤
Could not agree more! My front garden is tiny compared to use, and I always find something to do on my daily rounds.
Like the idea of moving the fineals and bringing the pots closer to the house
Oh Linda, I absolutely love your dress! I too wear dresses in the summer and sometimes I wear bloomers underneath. Brie the Plant Lady also loves dresses. It’s so much less constricting than shorts or pants. Your garden brings so much joy to many. I also love your hair styled like that. Thank you.
Your dress is darling, Linda! The cleome is really something 😊 I just LOVE the window box 🌿

Yes! Change the pineapple finials to the front!!!

OKAY Linda, straight off! Where is that so cute dress from?? ❤
And why are you wearing this sundress, while bending-over, while weeding in an elevated from the street garden at a 4 way stop?
Thrifted!
I am sooo amazed by how your garden filled in,looking so lush and Spectacular. 🌻💐
Oh Linda and Stewart! You make my day. I was up all night with my dog...terrified of fireworks and this made my day. The garden looks beautiful!!
Wow! It hurts my heart for the dogs with the fireworks- sorry for your furry baby❤️
I am so glad that the City of Cape Town has outlawed fireworks. I feel for you & your fur child❤
Yes to another Dusty Miller as anchors, but I like the white Butterfly Candy bushes trimmed back and left in place.
