This build comes with...
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 (amzn.to/3O1j4Ng)
MOBO: ASRock A520M-HDV (amzn.to/4aPYCbV)
GPU: Sparkle ARC A580 ORC OC (amzn.to/4ce8ug8)
RAM: 16GB TEAMGROUP T-CREATE (amzn.to/3ScHdTA)
SSD: 512GB KLEVV CRAS (amzn.to/41TlGlY)
CASE: Zalman M3 Plus (amzn.to/43al6Rv)
PSU: MSI MAG 650W (amzn.to/3Two8wh) - Ігри
I'm bout a start mowing lawns to do this 😅
That ram selection is super underrated. Its affordable, good-looking, and its super stable overclocked to 3600mhz
Thanks man i think im pulling the trigger on this thanks for sending me this build in advance !
Replace the SSD with the kingston nv2 1tb. It's faster, newer and has more storage.
Great video thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video 😀
You pretty much nailed my build! The only differences are the PSU, I went with an Apevia Spirit 600w, and I am using an RX 5600 (non-XT). But other than that, it’s a good, solid build.
For anyone who doesn't have this SSD or wants a better one for a similar price I recommend the Kingston NV2 1TB. It's PCI Gen 4 and has double the storage of this one
Edit: it's faster too
the mobo is pci gen 3 so you wont get the full speeds. any 1tb m.2 with at least 1500-2000 MB speed should do the job
Mobo and cpu aren't gen 4 but moving forward you might find gen 4 drive for the same or cheaper price and they will hold up longer in future build potentially.
Saw the mustache and subscribed immediately.
🤣
i love ur videos, btw did they ever tell u like Steve Howey aka Kev from shameless?
Thank you! Never heard that one, haha
its not out of my expected budget as i would be using gbp to buy my parts so i searched for under 500 gbp but this came up
My interest is in building a budget gamer that would support direct out for a Quest 3 (HL Alyx & other PC VR games/ports). Would this build support direct out (specifically, the A580's) - and is it robust enuf to handle VR?
Hmm, I'm not 100% sure on how the A580 will handle PCVR. The one downside of ARC GPUs is that, since Intel is new to the GPU market, they're sort of playing catch up in optimizing for the variety of games and applications available. My guess is that you'd be better off opting for either an RX 6600 or RTX 3050,---both slightly mor expensive than the A580---as AMD/NVIDIA will likely offer better support for what you're looking to do. I think NVIDIA offers the better VR support, but the 3050 trails behind the 6600 and A580 in traditional gaming performance.
New question so does the psu have to go upside down or does it matter?
I usually put my fan facing down, but the general consensus is that it doesn't really matter too much, with the exception that some non-standard case formats may be better suited one way or the other. For this build I don't think it will matter.
How did you get the fans to light up with the motherboard?
No connection to the motherboard is necessary. The case comes with a controller that all of the fans are pre-connected to. You'll just need to connect a SATA power connector from your PSU to the controller to power them.
Just note, though, that these aren't true RGB lights, as they only stay in this multi-colored mode.
A580 looking like it can give the rx6600 a run for best in their price class. It's pretty impressive (if you ignore Starfield 😂)
Definitely 👆 First time using an Intel GPU and am impressed. Hopefully they can start competing in the higher tiers and force NVIDIA and AMD to lower prices.
how did you play valorant when i try to it says that i need a compatible GPU
Check this reddit thread. Seems to be a common problem and you'll need to delete your GPU drivers with DDU and reinstall them:

I believe I had to go into BIOS and enable secure boot as well in order to play it.
just wondering but is it possible to use other kind of pc cases? if so what kinds should i look for?
Yes you can swap out the case. You'll just need to make sure that it will hold the graphics card and motherboard.
@@TechGuided hey its me again and i want to build this exact build for my first pc with some changes, im thinking of a 500 or 550w psu and the gigabyte b450m ds3h wifi motherboard, will it work? im not too knowlegable about pcs and was hoping you can help me out.
Ok I'm back so I ordered the parts and I got the 512 gb klevv clas and I was wondering if it came with the screw because I opened the box to check it out and there's no screw so I may have dropped it
Shoot, I'm trying to look back through footage of me unboxing it, but I can't tell. If not there, there should be one that came with the motherboad?
@@TechGuided yeah that's what I was thinking because the motherboard hasn't came in yet so your probably right
@@TechGuided yeah you where right the motherboard came in and has the screw now Im just waiting on the CPU and case will definitely use the vid as tutorial
@@Ghosty_VRx Nice, let me know if you have any questions.
@@TechGuidedquestion about upgrading SSD would I be able to use 1 terabyte SSD if ever needed?
If your doing this, I'd recommend a used 3060TI is ~150-180 and 47% better though does pull 50W more
Definitely a good point! I checked the local used market where I live before I built this system and, unfortunately, there weren't a lot of great deals. I don't live in a huge metropolitan area, though... I'm assuming that helps.
@TechGuided I mean I just checked eBay used. I imagine it'd be cheaper on a local marketplace
@@kalibbailey6219 I checked ebay as well, but the prices seemed ridiculously high. Maybe I needed to be more patient looking for deals.
@@TechGuided To clarify I was looking at used GPUs not Refurbished, which is my preference
Would I be able to replace the ryzen 5 5500 with an intel core i5- 12400?
Yes you can, but you'll also need to swap the motherboard for an LGA 1700 socket micro-ATX motherboard. That would either be an H610 or B660 chipset board. A B660 board will probably be tough to fit in a $500 budget unless you find a good deal. H610 will run the 12400F fine, but will limit your upgrade potential a bit. But you have basically the same problem if you stick with the Ryzen 5 5500 and the A520 chipset board we chose.
@@TechGuided is there any other pc cases in that budget range because the case in the video says it’s no longer available
was doing some research for one of my clients on YT when your channel
showed up and I gotta say, I really like your content.
However, there were a couple of things I noticed that if fixed, would help you get more views
and overall grow faster.
Let me know if you're interested.
Always open to feedback! LMK
I would like to give you some of my feedback and potentially see if we're a good fit. Mind
hopping on a quick call for this?

@@TechGuided I thought you'll not reply so i sent an email to you😂
Small question do you need thermal paste for the CPU?
The stock cooler that the Ryzen 5 5500 comes with already has thermal paste preapplied, so unless you want to apply your own, you don't have to.
K thx
Oh and another thing do I need Ethernet or does it have wireless wifi
@@Ghosty_VRx The motherboard doesn't have built-in WiFi so you'll need to connect to the internet via ethernet or you can get a cheap USB WiFi card.
@@TechGuidedok thx
Hey I made a new account I'm ghostx and I finished the build but it didn't turn on
Is anything turning on when you press the power button? Do fans spin or LED lights turn on?
Nvm just re watched vid turns out I didn't plug something in
@@TechGuidedare those colored wires under the GPU supposed to be plugged in?
Sorry for the late response. Glad you got it sorted. Yeah, the colored wires are the HD Audio and USB 2 connections that will allow you to plug in a headset and USB devices on the top panel of your case.
@@TechGuided yeah the problem was I didn't check for the colored wires but then found them I also found the other stuff like the restart wires now everything is plugged in and turns on I just need to set up the bios and stuff
Suprised people are still playing Starfield. I think I got like 40-50 hours before I’d had enough
It's an interesting game to benchmark because it's so difficult to run. I've played it a bit to get gameplay footage for these videos, though, and you're right... it's a very flat and boring game.
Whoa it’s almost like people have different preferences! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
