As a rule of thumb, the Japanese "foreigner price" is the "cash price". If you pay with a credit card, they will charge a credit card fee (usually 3%). Happy B-Day 🎉
Thank you Henry for leading me to Nakano Broadway and all your japanese watch shopping advice. Just yesterday I bought a Rolex Air King (116900 -2019) box papers I hope it was a deal at 1.120 million yen tax free price from Watchnian.
No negotiations there, in their culture its actually insulting to ask. Some shops charge credit fee and some dont. Quark where i purchased my Rolex does not. Best is to ask before committing. Japan is very strict on selling fakes, jail time if a seller is caught plus penalties. Because of the tax free shopping, favorable exchange rate, selections and their honesty.... i now exclusively buy watches there. Only exception is if my local Rolex AD offers me a watch. Thank you for uploading this vid, hope people find this informative. Love your channel btw.
I’m here In Tokyo right now been here for two weeks Did days of watch shopping !! This guy has no idea what he is talking about. Vintage watches maybe you can find a deal Anything newer is MORE expensive than in the USA. Way more expensive!!! Newer Pepsis here average $20-$23k USD In The states $16750-18500 same watch Daytonas here new 6 digit 116500s. All high 20k USD In The states you can find them for 19-26k pandas and black dials
Henry, why not visit Distinctive Time in Vancouver. They have every type of Rolex, new, in the box, unworn. The same with Patek Philippe. Distinctive Time has multiple copies of new Patek Philippe. Just ask Distinctive Time where they get their stock. Where do you think Distinctive Time gets its stock? But no matter where you buy it, you will always have the Rolex stink hanging on every watch. Rolex is a disgusting, dishonest company, a disgrace. It is embarrassing to wear a Rolex.

Avoid Tokyo if you are looking for 'Cheaper' rolexes... Osaka is way better in terms of pricing on luxury and vintage watches/bags.
