@@Pouzdraken The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
When you read the Wikipedia page on the Gloster Javelin it starts to make sense. "The Gloster Javelin is a twin-engined T-tailed delta-wing subsonic night and all-weather interceptor aircraft that served with Britain's Royal Air Force from the mid-1950s until the late 1960s."
It's a bit goofy but nothing drastic. Delta wing configuration is unusually shallow, intakes are weirdly round. Tail ... that's a bit weird I agree. If the air intakes are more of a classical half-circle shape, like mirages, it would look much more normal/standard.
7:38 i only now noticed it but me163 was in fact a glider that used the rocket engine to get to high altitude and after that used its increadible gliding performance to intercept bombers and their escorts
I love this thing. I managed spading it with a 3kdr. I find at lower speeds with the airbrake and flaps you can pull tight as hell and get some wacky dogfights. Only thing is you enter doing 900kph and by the end you are doing 230. As long as you know you are 1v1 and hit your shots you can dogfight. If you miss you better have altitude to dive out or you are simply to slow and dead.
I fly the Jav in SIM EC and love it and, of course, in SIM there is no big and little Dorito issue. I use it not so much to dogfight but to intercept bombers and attackers. It climb rate is quite good.
I would love to see a review of the Me 163 B-0 (the 20mm variant). I don't know why it's 8.7 when the other one is 8.0. The only real advantages I can see are muzzle velocity and ammo capacity, but do those really warrant the .7 BR increase? I see less of those things than most event vehicles.
Another lesson from the end, that is why you don't get tunnel visioned on one guy (I'm referring to the mig-15) because then you just get killed easily by one of their team mates lol
I laugh and laughed again just now, because earlier I was closing my eyes while laying down watching this and then you get to the part about the blind people liking that one tap, so good. No I could hear you try three bursts before it exploded. Now that I am up holy crap what a weird plane and a weird place to have the cannons. There is so much wing area you think they could have moved them in board. Looks like aiming might be better handled in the cockpit view. I guess that isn't something you ever use? Don't question the snail; noted. I don't think we really need a 163 video so if you don't want to make it no big deal but the odd aircraft are the most interesting like this huge ass piece of junk. I thought it was a lot worse than it is. Maybe i am thinking of the Buccaneer? Thanks for another fine video Def
the reason I chase planes I can't catch is to force more separation before I give up my 6. to decide you can't catch someone and break off at 1 or 2 km (like the mig15) is pretty bad, and he paid for that.

Hey defyn, I already asked this, but I’m not sure if you saw it: would you maybe make a video in which you show all your controls etc and explain what they do and why you have them like this? Because I’m not sure what half the settings even do and I don’t really like my settings no matter how much I change them. (Maybe you could just upload the controls file somewhere too for less work 😅) Congrats on 60k btw :)
Given that you asked for it I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE A VIDEO ABOUT THE LITTLE DANGER DORITO! (Ill stop shouting now, the rocket is ouf of fuel, dont have to anymore)
Was waiting for you to explain your choice as to why you bring the 4x guns and 2x missiles over the 4x missiles and 2x guns. I personally bring the extra guns in uptiers because the higher tiers make my aim 9bs pretty useless, and Id bring the extra missiles in downtiers to abuse early jets. Unfortunately I've literally never been downtiered.
This video would be a really good segue into a next video which re-visits the F4D-1. They're both goofy ass, huge winged planes with afterburners and quirky flight performance, though the similarities do die off from there.
So you adjust the mouse sensitivity down to like 20% in game. Go up only one tick from 100% throttle.. you'll get most of the power of full afterburner but use less fuel
i was the mig15ish at the 15.00 min mark. i play the plane on a 9 min fuel load so if someone in the enemy team prolongs the game its a problem. but with the 4 years i've played in the ish i've realized that i get more rp by playing 2 fast 2 kill games than a 20 minute 4 kill game so its worth it
also i love the general assumption that premium players are inexperienced, been playing singe the beta :D. Great video on the dorito tho because i see 100's of players fly this thing like its a draken and turning after the 1st plane they see, losing all energy and immediately dying.

If he respected the missiles weakness he’d have a far better results using them 4 fire streaks let’s you be a missile boat interceptor. Just don’t fire them at fast targets passed 2km or targets that will obviously turn soon. Everytime he said “that missile has the range it should hit” the missile did not have the range. The F.A.W. part in the Javelins name is the sound the pilot makes when one shell takes a wing off.
Getting a talisman for this thing from a trophy when it was first added, was the equivalent of the nut beating bond got in Casino Royale
Hahahaha
This is one of those planes that make me think, "How on earth was that a military plane at some point?"
It's just so big and weird looking.
Modern fighter jets are pretty weird-looking, too.

Well anything that can go fast can be an interceptor i guess.
Because it was designed in the late 40s as part of the first generation of jets when people were still figuring out how transonic jets should be built
If only it's top speed hasn't been wrong for it's entire existence in war thunder, it should be ~200km/h faster than it is.
True but tbh if it had its actual top speed then it would be a worse hunter probably at the same BR bc of missiles... So...
I’d take a faster Jav with Firestreak’s over a Hunter. At least I can choose to bleed energy in the Javelin lol
7:38 i only now noticed it but me163 was in fact a glider that used the rocket engine to get to high altitude and after that used its increadible gliding performance to intercept bombers and their escorts
Someday I will quit War Thunder for good but will keep coming to watch DEFYNs videos for the comedy value. Well done sir :)
I just finished researching this jet but haven't bought it yet, your video couldn't have come out at a better time.
Same
it’s pretty decent tbh, missles are good for the br and plenty of power
Lots of people hate it but I personally believe the Javelin is one of the jets of all time ❤
Why
Yeah it seems like a huge target that’s hard to miss
