I love it when people see Nemophila for the first time. The reactions are so different depending on which song they see first. First rule of Nemophila: Whether it's your first Nemophila song or your 10th, it's not going to be what you expected. Formed in Tokyo in 2019 as a temporary project to back up singer Mayu, the members bonded so well that they stayed together as Nemophila. Their musical range is incredibly broad and diverse. This was their first song as a four-piece following the departure of one of their guitarists around Easter this year. Their main songwriting and production collaborator also parted ways with them around the same time. This song was largely written by vocalist (and occasional rhythm guitarist) Mayu. The members are: Mayu: scream and melodic vocals, occasional guitar at live shows. Tamu Murata: drums, backing vocals (at live shows she carries most of the backing vocal load). Hazuki: 7-string guitar, backing vocals. Haraguchisan (AKA Hara-chan): 5-string bass, backing vocals. Mayu and Tamu are both mothers to small children. All members contribute to songwriting. Drummer Tamu can also play sax, guitar, bass, keyboards and xylophone. Hazuki is also a member of the band KOIAI with Li-sa-X. Totally my favourite band.

No shortage of extremely talented and diverse bands: Nemophila, Lovebites, Hanabie, Unlucky Morpheus, Versailles, Maximum The Hormone, Galneryus, East of Eden, Asterism, Tears of Tragedy, Yajima Mai, Yousei Teikoku (officially, Das Feenreich) Ningen Isu (the old guard of Jmetal!) ROTTENGRAFFTY, Ave Mujica. I could go on.
Band-Maid is my favourite Rock Band, so Nemophila is my favourite Metal Band ever..They deserves so much more Glory and credit here in Western World..Magical band 🔥❤️ After Saki( second guitarist and most experienced musician) left five months ago, they have become even more stronger and heavier band.
