Love watching you clean and organize! I am not at all a clean and organized person...piles are my jam, but I always get the urge to get things back in order at this time of the year. When I can't use my systems anymore, I can't handle it. I often use testing week to organize because I don't really have planning or grading to do and get things back in order.
Hi Bridget, love to watch how you change the classroom organization from time to time. I learned a lot from you. Thank you👍 As for the thank you cards, you can put them into a yearly scrapbook, dedicated just for the thank you cards. It's like looking back at the "rewards" when you need some motivation😊
Bridget, your eyes and eyebrows are GORGEOUS! 😱👀 I’m so glad I’m not the only person whose classroom looks like a wreck after a crazy week. I need theses silk pillowcases you speak of 😯 I’m eyeballing your dollar tree baskets attached to the chairs. I wish so badly my room was a tad bigger so I could have combination of desks and choice seating options. Black pants! Ahh, mine do the same thing. It’s the material they use to make them. I mean... who’s got time for fuzzies!
I've been putting off organizing some papers and resources that I have been accumulating. I am now inspired to get them taken care of because it does feel lots better to have things clean and organized. :)
LOL! I've been in Spring cleaning mode last week and going into this one! Sorted out cupboards in my reception classroom (I teach 4-5 year olds in the UK)! Glad, I'm not the only one in cleaning mode. :)
Austin Bailey thank you 😅 a little insight into how goofy I can be sometimes. You are so sweet. Find and keep that motivation. It’ll take you to far away and amazing places! ❤️
Loved being with during your spring cleaning! Looks so great!!!! I am in love with your student created media center! Thanks such a fabulous idea 💡 I think that’ll be a bit hit!
I literally JUST organized my room after spring break. I left right at contract time because I was OVER IT. Basically walked away from an explosion. As for the cards, I totally just had a few that I stuffed away. I have a box deep in my unused desk of warm and fuzzies that I keep. I don’t keep them all, but I keep the ones that mean a lot to me. On hard days, it helps to have fellow teacher notes or student made notes that fill my bucket.
Loooove organization ~ this video was great! I have been doing the same thing in my classroom. I agree it must be the spring thing:) Yes vlog Teach Your Heart Out. That would be fun to see. Have a great week!
Ok, Spack (😉) put all sentimental notes and cards and special pictures and drawings inside your coat closet on the door- like a bulletin board right on the door. It’s so nice to peek at it when you have to get something inside the closet.
I love those bins that are on the shelf, holding the math file folder games!! Please tell me where I can find them! I tried doing a quick amazon search but no luck 😫
I am going to be at the Teach Your Heart Out Conference too!! Hope to see you there! You have really motivated me to get organized! Thanks so much for all of your wonderful videos!
Thank you Bridget for the organization inspiration! What was the link at the end for the star spots please? Sorry, didn’t see it! Yes, please video the ❤️ conference, but have fun!
I’d like to suggest to take pictures of the cards and eventually make a photo album via shutterfly of all the cards...then you have an album with thank 📝 notes...:)
I must have missed a few vlogs- when did you put a teacher desk in the back by the sink? I still want to be a student in your class. :) Would love to have the storage that you have.
The homework basket- so they hand it in on top of that sheet? Will you always stand near the basket to check off or will they? My students would throw it on top and the check sheet would be hidden. I like this idea.
Elsa Valerio funny you ask because I felt like there were so many people clogging the experience that I felt mine would be to repetitive. Instead, I lived in the moment and hung out with some amazing people.
Have you thought of putting the checklist outside by the basket. Put their names & as they turn in their papers have them check their names off too. Put it on the kids teach responsibility??
Do you keep some of the same things in the binders as you do in your 43 file folder system? Just curious to how the two compare and contrast. How do you decide which things go into the binder or the folders?
How do you handle student work that isn't finished? Do they turn it in to a basket or turn it in to you for you to paper clip it and give it back to them?
Hi Bridget! Loved this video. The math books that you make for your students, how did you do that? I'd like to do something similar as a morning work/spiral activity. Are yours individualized? Thanks for sharing!
hi Bridget! can you give me a list of authors for young learners? my students , aged 12-14, want to read books in English but I don't know which authors I can recommend. thank you.
Don't you feel as a teacher...organizing is never ending?? I feel like I could spend hours in my classroom organizing forever!!! lol...and btw .... ah yes...breakfast for dinner!!

I love watching organization videos! I get so many ideas-even from the clutter.
Rachel McFeters I do too!!!! They are some of my favorites to watch! I still have 3 closets to purge so another video will be out in the next month 🙌🏼

I always learn so much from your organizational idea. Thanks!
I enjoy watching all your vi videos. You inspire me very much. I am a high school special Ed student in Vermont.

I would tape the cards on the inside of a storage closet door. Each time you open the door, you will see all the great messages you received.
Being organized unclutters our minds. Think it's really important to tidy up, then focus on other matters. Good job!

Definitely want to see Teach Your Heart Out!❤️
I keep a file of my school pictures that I will at some point in time make a scrapbook with. You could do the same with thank you notes.

You could put your cards on those hexagons on your cupboard doors!
George Jones OH MY GOODNESS!!! I love that idea!

If you like you chairs staying in the same spot put tape or Velcro on the ground so your students can do it themselves
Hi Bridget!! I haven't heard from how grad school is going lately. When will you have your Masters degree?
Don't you feel as a teacher...organizing is never ending?? I feel like I could spend hours in my classroom organizing forever!!! lol...and btw .... ah yes...breakfast for dinner!!
Are you allowed to have some kind of assistant, to help you to keep things organized, so it will not be too much work on you.
The edging on your rug that is coming off is a tripping hazard.
Elowen Ellswell yes, I know. That’s why I cut it off on Friday. ✌🏼
Why hasn’t she been in her room for a few weeks?
