Energy management at its best, superb display
Very nice. The pilot is obviously very comfortable. Would have been nice to see a few roll manuvers. The camera guy is about as good as you could get, shooting a moving target from the ground. Congrats! Well done.
I had a flight in a Tiger Moth just yesterday and I asked for an upgrade in my booking to include loops and rolls. The pilot said that he could do loops and stall turns but not rolls as his words were that they "...do not do rolls very well." and even in stable flight our Tiger Moth was definitely affected by the thermal air. So anyway, we did two loops and one stall turn on my flight. It was a marvellous experience and serves as a 'warm up' to my Main Event in June which will be an aerobatic Wing Walk aboard the top wing of a Boeing Stearman run by the (now former) Breitling Wing Walk Team!
Fantastic !
Great airbatics and pilot skills. At first I thought it was an RC model.
Oh come on.... superb skills.
God, De Haviland made some gorgeous planes.
Great stuff !
Wow, what a plane!
@bicyclemonkey We do shoot in HD :-). The issue is, whether enough of our UA-cam users want material in HD to warrant the extra time and cost involved -- time in terms of uploads as we have relatively slow broadband here in NZ. This material is available on BluRay disk.... :-) We'd be interested to know how/where and on what hardware you watch these videos which would make HD versions more attractive to you. Cheers.
Nádhera, Tiger Mothy žeru odjakživa. Taky bych chtěl takovýho.
Dear santa...
I bet he is just struggling with turbulence.
nearly inverted on the falling leaf, full rudder only just stopped him flipping inverted which would not have been pretty at that height. obviously a skilled pilot whom is going against the grain, not many old bold pilots out there left.
What else you want out the aircraft? Don't get too conterforble pushing the envelope everytime
Don't think ppl should fly these historic planes this way - they're too precious. You don't want stupid crashes like the last flying Mosquito
0:17 What is that aerobatic? Lomcevak?
