Here's some additional tips.
*Stagecoach items can only be equipped at the INN.*
I see a lot of new players get confused why they can't equip them during the journey. The Wainwright does thst for you.
*You can see if a healing skill can now heal if you hover it on a character.*
If the health shows a green color and the amount of heal, then it can heal. No need to bring a calculator to know if they're

*Meltdowns aren't just a "relationship" thing.*
Meltdown not only reduces your Hero's health to almost zero and ruins relationships, it also applies a debuff that reduces their resistance to death by 15%. The more they meltdown, the more likely they'll die. Keep stress low.
You forgot the most important one:
Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

Boastful pride precipitates a dizzying downfall
Another Tip: When you hire the Bounty Hunter, you don't need to care about his stress, relationships and negative quirks, because he will be gone at the next inn. So do all the bad things with him instead of one of your normal heroes. After all, we pay him for that. ^^

This was great, i knew 90% of them but the INN buff is game changer now that i know where to see it.
remember to stall at the end of fights sometimes. If you can get an extra heal, stress heal, or relationship point you might want to do that before finishing off the last monster. Mainly only if the monster is pretty much dead or not a threat.

Did they fix the bug with the Nautical Compass trinket that causes it to grant its buff after using a combat item, instead of the character's end of action?
Yes, They did.
Something that frustrates me is the acquisition of mastery points. What determines if you get them? I know at resistance counters, and other important fights, there's a CHANCE? Seems to increase with the amount of fights. Or is it more simple than that? Please advise. I love to fight but sometimes I would rather take another path but I prioritize mastery points above all.
In some fights it's guranteed you'll get mastery points like the lair, but otherwise there's just a chacne, yeah. + you get guranteed mastery point at the Hero shrine.

whats up with the highway man adding combo tokens on riposte? are there any other hidden mechanics like that?

It’s not hidden - maybe easy to overlook - but its in his hero path descriptions
Avoid road obstacles? Why? There’s no downside to hitting them and they can drop loot. You only take coach damage from specific events that cannot be avoided.
True.
The loot contains like 4 relics and 2 baubles and there's a chance to fight elite enemies with battle advantage and this can really hurt you party. I think it's not worth it.
@@olcaval I’ve gotten combat items and inn items from the debris. The combat only happens when you hit a path with the crossed swords, not from the road debris.
@@Barghaest Ohh you mean the things on the road... right, sorry, by road obstacles I meant the nodes on the road like for example the road fights, hazard routes, ano so... Sorry for the misunderstanding.
@@olcaval Yes. I think I was the one who misunderstood in the beginning… I thought you were talking about the road debris not the hazard encounters.

Yeah they are all hard. I didn't want to include the bosses because I didn't want to spoil anything. I think I can say that I am pretty good at this game and even I couldn't defeat some final bosses on first try. I still have trouble killing some region bosses. Anyway good luck! Don't lose hope!
@@olcaval Yeah the game for sure is about trial and error and seeing things trough to the biter end haha. Think when i get some more candles i can eventually get it. But there are still 3 more bosses holy moly :o

Hey bud im still confused when unlocking new heroes. All the outdated videos keep showing the old way to unlock characters.

You need to spend candles in order to unclock them at the altar of hope (a place before each chapter)
