Hi,love the chanel and content, the lip on the back of the dumper skip is to prevent liquid from drenching the operator when travelling and sloshing around.it is true its a pain for the machine man loading but a godsend to the driver especially when renewing sewer line🤮👍

another great review of a machine. 💪💪
talking about prices.machine prices have skyrocketed including diesel. in my are (Kos island, Greece) at the moment its 1.95 Euro litre (0.70 euro cents per litre increase past 6 months)😭

Lol, two ways of moving dirt. The hourly way or the contract price way. 🤣🤣🤣.
Those things are not popular here in canada, mostly use skid steers, or tracked loaders. I bought a small tracked dumper though last year to do a couple of jobs.
Thanks for taking the time for the video Ollie.

I hired one the same model this weekend past in Scotland & totally agree with your findings on the reversing warning siren which was way too loud. I suspect if it was my own machine I would also try to amend it too. I always check behind prior to setting off as it is good practice. I know it is probably not the right thing to do from safety but feel that you could mitigate the risks rather than antagonising neighbours.
Contrary to your findings on the seat belt - I found that it was possible to plug the seat belt in & sit in front of the seat belt & operate the dumper without having to strap in each & every time. I was using it on flat ground & tipping over was never going to be an issue.
I found that the hand brake button was difficult to operate. Otherwise It did a good job of moving a lot of dirt! For the job i was doing it was too small but was unable to hire a bigger machine. It coped without fault for my two day hire.
Perhaps my findings / experience were machine specific. Thanks for your great content as always.

You are right, you can operate it with the belt plugged in behind you, but as soon as you take pressure off the seat - it wont drive again until you unplug and re-plug in the belt - bit too clever for its own good!

I really enjoy watching your videos, especially for small operators. Have you got any advice on compactors - I'm putting in a 200sqm driveway in a field, nothing fancy just MOT crush topped with gravel, trying to decide what's best to hire to compact it down?

At 200m2 it’s not really worth hiring a roller for (although it would do the best job). Min 4 passes with a heavy wacker plate (150kg or above) would produce similar results, be easier to transport, and not take significantly longer than a roller on that kind of area
