So happy I came across this video! I'm visiting the Yarra Valley for the first time next weekend and this was a perfect introduction on what to visit. Thank you so much guys :)
That’s awesome that you live pretty close to Yarra Farm Fresh. Haha yeah grocery shopping was our favourite activity too during the lockdown 😅 Thanks so much for watching!

really love the ambience of the Four Pillars! you can see how they make the Gin through the window ! Even though we are beer lovers, we would love to try the Gin & Tonic Paddle!
Loving your travel vlogs guide guys, well filmed, edited & curated 💯❤ Definitely following this guide coz we never been to Yarra Valley😭 looks like Hunter Valley but with more things to do
That intro zoom ours was perfect! I really love your travel videos. My wife would love to try those beverages. I’m not fancy enough. You make me so excited to use my drone again. How long away were you for this trip? Chocolate and Ice Cream is our type of trip. I would have been all red if I tried all those wines. Crazy to see those 🦘. Such a great trip!
Thanks Carl! Hahaha yeah the wine sounds fancy, doesn't it. The chocolateries and ice creamery is perfect for kids 👌 We were so happy to see those kangaroos. First time seeing that many kangaroos in one place. The view is spectacular too!
Thank you for watching! We don’t recommend going by public transport, as it’s not really feasible. There won’t be any public transport once you get to Yarra Valley region (maybe there is bus but it doesn’t run very frequently), if you take train up to Lilydale station. hi, if I only have one day visiting Yarra Valley from Melbourne and staying over at the Yarra Valley Lodge, do you think I can potentially still cover 1 bakery, 1 winery, 1 distillery, Maroondah Reservoir & Redwood Forest with lunch included? Also, what would you recommend for dinner? Thanks v much for your insightful vlog.
It's a bit packed for 1 day but still doable as long as you start early. Start the bakery first thing in the morning then maybe do Redwood forest last for sunset? Thanks so much for watching our video and hope you enjoy your visit :)
Yo guys been really enjoying your travel vlogs these last two weeks. I can see why ppl compare Melbourne and Auckland from your videos. The scenery and the wineries remind us a lot of our home city. Even the random walks like the Dam and gardens are very similar to what we have here. Good times 🤙
Thanks guys! Ah yes I guess there are some similarities of the sceneries between Melbourne and Auckland. I know you guys are not really into wine, have you guys visited some wineries in Auckland? I don't quite remember watching from your videos :D
my family and i are going to Melbourne in a few days, and we were planning to get a tour in Yarra Valley, but looking at you guys' vlog, i'm having second thought, might go there by ourselves instead hahaha. A question tho, how do you get around in the area? do you drive? or is there any public transport?
We haven’t done a tour in Yarra Valley, as we always drive ourselves to give us more flexibility on the places we want to visit. Tour is also a great idea if you only have limited time to visit I guess, as they will drop you to the most popular ones. It really depends on your need 😊 For us, flexibility is no.1 when we film travel videos (always the case when we go on holiday haha), as we need to take our time visiting one place to another, can’t really do it in a rush 😅 We get around the area by car, public transport is not good idea because Yarra Valley is outside Melbourne metro. You will end up waiting for bus for a longggg time haha. So yes either take the tour or get a car 😊 Hope that helps!
@@monday49s48 I decided to purchased a day trip for the wine tour, since I'm not legally allowed to drive internationally. But if you want to drive, I think it would be nice, since the view was incredible, you can take your time and maybe stop for a quick photo. As for the wine tasting, I only see adults in the winery, however, there are a lot of families in the ice creamery. Don't forget to visit the cheese and strawberry tasting, they have the most adorable puppy there that will welcome you with wagging tail and fluffy fur 😍
Have you visited Yarra Valley before?

What a nice sampler with beers and ciders! we gotta make sure to visit there with empty stomach!!!
For sure! Bring your empty stomach, and you will leave this place as a happy person 😀
6:30 What a view!!! It looks like a peaceful place to chill and walk along after the tipsy drink. 😜
Haha yep, that’s what we did. We can’t continuously do wine tasting in a day. Had to take some break in between. 😆

Do we need a prior table booking in Chandon or other wineries in Yarra valley?
Most of them requires booking especially on the weekends or public holidays :)
