here is my newest story 🔺Day trip from Melbourne Penguin Parade & Koala Reserve | Aussie Style Fish & Chips 🐧(Phillip Island) thanks for watching :) -> ua-cam.com/video/LLyqWTqDSik/v-deo.html
A flat white coffee doesn't have any foam at all, your friend is very wrong!
I'm glad you did a quick tour of the Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne has markets all over the place but the Queen Victoria Market is the largest and I believe the best one.
I must admit I really need to get back into the foodie and cafe scene again but I recommend Fitzroy for food aswell.
No idea why I'm watching this video when I literally live here but it was fun
Thank you for that Warillusen! : )
I'm doing the same thing 😂
Same here
Me too
Likewise 😂
I love seeing people come to Melbourne and where they try! So many places even I haven’t been to and I’ve lived here 24 years. So glad you enjoyed it, it’s such a great city 🎉
thank you Bellar for the warm message, everyone I met in Melbourne were so friendly and down-to-earth which is very hard to find in big cities. I just uploaded a new story about the Phillip Island Penguin Parade you should take a road trip there too, it was one of the most beautiful things I've seen!) ua-cam.com/video/LLyqWTqDSik/v-deo.html
So good to see the city!!! Thank you!!!
thank you Teri, I think you will love Melbourne too!
I like this bloke, he seems so genuine!

It's encouraging comment like yours that motivate me to share more stories with the world. Thank you Lynn and I totally agree, Melbourne is such a wonderful city! :)
I am so happy that Melbourne was your first stop in Australia. We have a very multicultural city and are so lucky to enjoy the benefits of sharing culture and food. I hope you created a lot of good memories and make your way back when the time is right.
I totally love how our Chinatown has grown so much there's a never ending list of new places to try. Thanks for making this awesome video diary of your time here.
thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful message, it's even more encouraging to hear this from a fellow UA-camr. Yes, I left my heart in Melbourne, it's such a beautiful and magical city, I would love to go back one day again! :)
@@TJStories You're so kind! I hope to see you back in Melbourne next time - I'll take you to Korea Town (our newly growing Korean Precinct). You and your friends look like a lot of fun with great appetites!
Excellent vidoe TJ, Melbourne is one of the worlds most amazing cities (hidden gems which is highly underrated) in experiencing culture, food, history and or just to relax. It's one of most multuicultural cities that you can dine out to a diffrent culture every week.
I couldn't agree more, being able to experience so many different cultures within a city, it really is one of the most amazing cities! thank you for your kind comment!
Melbourne is still my favourite city in Australia. The video is awesome! Thank you! ❤
Thank you Ed! yes, very international city with small town vibe! so many great memories. Thank you too for making this special trip happen :)
Very happy to see you enjoying Melbourne.,welcome. We are spoiled for coffee and international cuisines and fresh air and blue sky.
Having lived in Beijing and Bangkok for the last 14 years where it's very rare to see blue sky, yes, visiting Melbourne was a like a dream :) Now it's one of my favorite cities around the world, I hope to visit again. Thank you for your warm welcome! Ta
I too travel over the years, mainly Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam, and I always look forward to come home to Melbourne, we take advantage of the fresh clean air and the blue sky that other countries wish they have.Melbournians are very welcoming, friendly and down to earth. Also,we have free drinkable fresh water straight from the tap all over Melbourne. You should venture out of the city and travel to some of the very multicultural Asian enclaves like Springvale,Glenn Waverley and Box Hill, more Vietnamese,Malays,Indonesian and Chinese food and Chapel Street, where Italian coffee and food started in Melbourne.Enjoy😊.
@@dublsrz I will note these places down for next time I go back to Melbourne (hopefully for a longer stay) thank you for the recommendations :)
G’day TJ, mate welcome to Melbourne town & happy to see you’re enjoying it. It’s an expensive country to live in but thank goodness for our vibrant multiculturalism 👍
Thanks (Taa~!) You! Yes, Aussie people are so friendly and I loved the laidback multicultural vibe + beautiful nature in Melbourne. :)
I love your video of Melbourne!! I lived in Melbourne CBD for 2 years and it's like falling in love with the city again! I'm glad you enjoyed Melbourne thoroughly! It's honestly my favourite city in Australia!

I love our Queen Victoria market it’s fabulous. Glad you got to experience our beautiful city
It really was beautiful and everyone was super friendly too! thank you and have a good weekend AussieAngeS :)
Hey TJ,
It was really kool to see Melbourne from outside in, from someone else's perspective.
I've grown up here all my life, and after having gone to most of the other Australian cities, I can Definitely Attest that Melbourne is Awesome!
It's super Cosmopolitan! And voted one of the world's most liveable city for years for a proper reason!
Yes a lot of people are fashion conscious and dress well. 😘
Coffee Cafe culture here is absolutely No1.
I love it! ☕💖
One of the real things I missed when I lived in SE Asia and India for years.
Starbucks still is fairly successful here, it just attracts a different target market imo.
Queen Vic market is always fun to go to, I used to go every week and get fresh veggies and French bread cheeses there.
The National Gallery is superb!! That stained glass ceiling is iconic. I saw the mind blowing MC Escher and Dali exhibitions there.
Federation Square also has a joint modern Art Exhibitions. I saw the Nintendo and Gaming Exhibition there. Games from when PC's and Nintendo first began. It was brill.
There's also massive art and cultural festivals. Rising Art and Interaction Festival is coming up in June!
Come and visit Melbourne! 🤗❤
wow thank you for your sincere message! And yes, I absolutely loved the arts & multicultural aspects as well as the coffee culture in Melborune. Now it’s one of my favorite cities around the world! Thank you also for all the other recommendations (I want to check them out next time I visit!) as a fan of original Nintendo games & Dali, all the exhibitions sound fascinating! Thanks AutumnalMountains

Hello there! I was just tuning into your channel. Your vlogs are truly fantastic, covering all the significant spots. Despite living in Melbourne for 17 years, I've missed out on these places until now, thanks to your videos. Much appreciated!
Hi bijoobk! Thankyou so much for your kind and encouraging comment! I feel the same way about my hometown… it’s only when my friends visit me from out of town that I get to explore some of the best spots in my city as well. Hehe I’m glad you enjoyed my vlog, try a few places mentioned, all the foods were very yummy!
I love Melbourne so much!! thanks for recommending those nice places :)
Yes, it's such a charming city. You are welcome and I hope all of us can goto Australia again!
Thanks TJ...You Are Awesome. 🎉
thank you Shaeshae for your kind comment! have a nice day!
I agree, the Asian food in Melbourne is sometimes even better than the ones in Asia! Looking forward to watching your next sky diving story TJ!
thanks Hyun, we have good taste in food :) okay, I will try to edit the next story on time this time (hopefully I can get faster at editing)
My Beautiful Melbourne ❤
Melbourne is definitely one of the most beautiful and charming cities in the world! ❤️🇦🇺
Hey TJ, Just came across your channel. So happy that you really enjoy and appreciate my city that is Melbourne. Great pronunciation of the city too! Just like an Aussie haha.
A lot of foreigners assume Sydney is the best city in Australia but the locals know that it’s Melbourne. From the food, coffee and sporting events we have it all! It just gets cold in winter haha.
Enjoy your stay here my bro!
Thank you so much for your message LJ. I liked both Melbourne and Sydney but just between you and me - for all the things that you just mentioned, I left my heart in Melbourne :) thanks again, Ta~!
NO, I have been to Sydney in April. The Asian food in Melbourne is just so much better.
Melbourne is my DNA.
I wish I shared some of that DNA! hehe I absolutely loved Australia because of Melbourne :)
In Melbourne we are lucky enough to have many Asian immigrants, so we have excellent restaurants. Everywhere else as well. We are spoiled for food and coffee. I’m N I migrant as well.
Yes, it’s the only city that I visited that had all the best and authentic foods from all over Asia plus I loved the coffee culture there as well. Thanks Leslie, have a good week! :)
Legit no idea why this came up on my FYP 😂 enjoyed it - was so enjoyable watching you eat Aussie foods
Ah thank you Tae for watching! Aussie people are so friendly and yes I love the food culture there :)
Welcome to Melbourne, looks like you had a great time!!
Ta~! Thank you, yes I had the best time exploring Melbourne and its beautiful surrounding areas. I will soon post a new story about Phillip Island Penguine Parade :)
Yes, Italian brought the Coffee into Australia but there is also Turkish coffee, I only saw and tried them at the Victoria Night Market, the Turkish coffee seems to be more finer grounded than Italian expresso brew much slower, also seems to be stronger.
ah yes! I also tried Turkish coffee else where, I remember it being very strong and more aromatic. Melbourne had such diverse varieties of imported coffee beans & coffe-based drinks, I really enjoyed it!
it is wonderful to have our friends visit us. Thank You. Please have fun and enjoy yourself.be safe take care. and we look forward to when you come visit us again. You are welcomed any time. Bless Korea. Cheers for now.
Thank you! Australia is such a beautiful country and I have yet to explore many more amazing places. I'm editing a new video for the day trip we took to the Phillip Island to see the famous penguine parade, new story will be out these two days :). thanks again Jules!
loved following you around Bangkok , glad to see you are in Melbourne Australia , I hope you make it to Sydney & run into perhaps, if fate allows . love your smile & style 🌹
I feel flattered, thank you Harrya for your kind words of encouragement! I got to goto both Melbourne and Sydney but only had 2-3 days each, hopefully I can go for longer next time. I had no idea I would love Australia this much!
Let’s hope for the best & that you have more time the next time around 🙏🏼

I aspire to become a coffee barista. I believe people here are more considerate than those in Tokyo. The public areas reflect the level of comfort people experience.
What a cool aspiring profession! Melbourne is the perfect place to become a coffee barista :) I hope you can reach your dream soon Natsumitsu :) ganbatte kudasai!

thank you for correcting me, I love LLB! I want to try making it at home.
Love the video!!!! I want to visit all the coffee spots :)
Thanks Justin!! Make sure to also check out Lune croissanterie, it was so worth the wait!! I will post another video about that + the winery tour in the future. I heard from Sarah you are doing well, hope we can catch up in person in Taipei or BKK or SF soon!

I agree, for taste, I can’t tell the difference between latte and flat white! 😅
yes, to be honest, in terms of taste, I couldn't really tell the difference but the texture of the foam did feel a little bit smoother in the mouth.
Enjoy your stay

Omg noooo, you went to the worst coffee places, that flat white at Brunetti was dreadful. If you want a good coffee in melb cbd: Patricia, Dukes, Vacation, Bench, Everyday coffee, Two Conversations, Overlay, Market Lane so many options but not Brunetti and not Degraves lane
yes, it did feel like it was a spot for many tourists...but the coffee there was still better than the ones we get in many coffee shops in Asia hehe. Thank you for the recommendations, I will note them down for next time I get to visit Melbourne! (the locals know all the best places :) I want to try REAL good flatwhite next time!
Flat white has little bit foam than latte.. then the diagram shows something else 😅
oh I see, thanks for letting me know! yes, my other Aussie friend told me Flat White's foam is also more like micro foam, smoother mouth feel. Next time, I gotta check out where all the locals go for their flat white :)
Looks Yummy and costly Hmmm
It was yummy! and you are right.... a bit costly compared to Bangkok. I would love to go again!
