Thanks for showcasing the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula. I have lived on the Mornington Peninsula my whole life, it is a beautiful place to live. It has everything and the city is only an hour away when you feel like a Melbourne getaway.
Next time you are in Melbourne guys head down the other side to Ballarat and Bendgo.....lots of lovely things to see in and around the Goldfields areas.
Its Funny watching going on Arthur seat Egale beautiful views from the peninsula 😍( coming from Edinburgh thinking of Arthur seat by Holly rood palace ) 😜. What an absolute stunning place where you stayed ,your Room wauw 🤩 the views of the vineyards😊 😂Stacey your Face tasting that cookie , just said it all no explanation needed🤫😋 . You have brought the most fantastic video/ series over Melbourne 🫶. Have a Good weekend 🥰
As always another awesome video !👌🙌 Next time you are in Mornington Peninsula you should visit Point Leo Art Park and Winery & Montalto, another art park/winery... And Flinders another great little coastal town which is on a rugged but beautiful coastline that faces Bass Strait
Mornington is also a good place to try & spot southern lights if the aurora gods allow XD next time you're in mornington, I'd suggest popping down to the Cape Schank Lighthouse - the walks around there are great if you like coastal walks (unless its stormy haha). In regards to the Dandenong Ranges, there's a lovely little chocolate shop called Only Mine in Olinda, near the Dandenong Botanic Gardens (also a lovely place to take a stroll, especially in spring or autumn or in rose season)
Ill be moving to Mornington at the end of this year from London with my Aussie wife! It looks absolutely stunning, cant wait to experience more of it myself
@DanegerAndStacey thanks for your reply! Yeah it looks like a great place to live, I'm looking forward to the different pace of life and being able to walk to the beach. What a treat!
Lucky me…in 4 months time, my wife and I will be travelling around the Mornington Peninsula….got a whole day winery visit booked, done the Yarra and Macedon…..Vinetrekker, absolute best winery trips through them…..cheers guys.
Uh no, you missed going to Moonlit Sanctuary which is in Pearcedale, a 30 minute drive from Mornington. I recommend doing the Night Tour because you get to see most of the animals being active since they are nocturnal.
We have been to Mornington Peninsula .with our cousins who live in Melbourne. It's a great area just to chill out. Great Food and of course Great Wine 🍷🍷 How are you guys doing ? Sending much love❤️❤️ from Jim, Harriet and Yuki in Castelo Branco , Portugal
Mornington Peninsula is a great place to visit. Next time you could catch the ferry from Sorrento across to Queenscliff and do the Bellarine Peninsula. For pizza/pasta try 400 Gradi for pasta that is mouth watering, and carbonara as good as i've had. They have been awarded world's best margherita verace pizza. Also awarded the 6th best pizza chain in the world /Brunswick best in Oceana.
The mornington peninsula around Portsea, Rosebud, Sorrento was a place for regular people to go to the beach in summer when i was growing up in the 90's. About 20 years ago is when it started to transform. All the wealthy people from Melbourne started buying land and turning it into a millionaires coastal beach playground with multi million dollar homes. Possibly for easy access and it being cooler and less humid than queensland. Next trip the the last places to explore would be the gold rush and murray river areas. Ballarat is closest to Melbourne. It has sovereign hill. Beechworth has similar history and the mental asylum. And Phillip Island for PENGUIN PARADE. It also has a few other interesting little things to do. November would be the best time. I am still waiting for my old mates to email me one day for ideas 😀
@DanegerAndStacey I did a weekend on Phillip Island in early October. The days are nice, but the penguin parade will get cool by the ocean at night. November will have warm days and nights, but it will not be peak heat. A good time to see 3000 penguins come out of the ocean. There's also the beach, a hobby farm and great venues. Cape woolamai is worth a look.

Try SAL's Pizza for a new york style pizza, LOTS of flavour and cheese!
My area, great vids folks !
Ohhh what area do you live? Such a stunning location, we loved it
Lived here for my whole 59 years. Been all over the world, still come home to Frankston.@@DanegerAndStacey
❤
😊
Lock your car and try not to get robbed. Mornington next to Frankston
Why's that, is it common?
Mornington is great if there are no traffic jams,no people and no thunderstorms...used to be is not a great thing to report.
Well we didn't experience any of those, so we loved it!
I’ve lived here and it’s an absolute dump, it’s only good for a summer holiday, my favourite thing to do is leave
🤣 This made us laugh! It's funny how your hometown can make you feel like that.
Haha glad hear it, hope no one took my opinion too seriously 😅
