New Control Arm from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ASLF00836
This video shows you how to install new control arms from TRQ on your 2014-2019 Toyota Highlander. Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear. When those bushings run out, that can have a negative impact on the ride and safety of your vehicle.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2014 Toyota Highlander
    2015 Toyota Highlander
    2016 Toyota Highlander
    2017 Toyota Highlander
    2018 Toyota Highlander
    2019 Toyota Highlander

It's the two post lift that makes this job doable by the average person. I just did ball joints and they were super easy, but I only have a jack and jack stands. Being able to get underneath all of that and work securely is the part that kept me from doing the LCAs. I like the Toyota design of the suspension (all of their cars look like this), but I wish I had access to a lift to get under it like this.

Dealer said my bushings were dry rotting and need replacing. Quote was $2200 for the pair. But vehicle is a 2019 highlander with 90k. I thought these things lasted longer than 4 yrs unless you drive on bad roads.

What is a fair estimate to total time to do both sides (by a professional shop)?

  • @bradsanche9978

why put antiseize on the shaft. put it on the threads! you don't need locktite on suspension bolts. antiseize, and torque

  • @davidparsons7052

1 side will cost 1100. At toyota

  • @renechimborazo7166
