Thanks for the pro soft click comment, I hate that loud pop sounds from the switch, that's why I try to avoid EHX pedals and some other companies. Very good review and explanation of the pedal
Pedals pedals pedals damn it my brains scrambled with how many there are on the market claiming to be this or that but as guitar players we are constantly looking for that holy grail of tone that lets be honest doesn't really exist that's why we are constantly searching for it in all the gear that is being churned out every other week nothing will make you play better sadly except playing as much as time affords you if something you find inspires you and puts a smile on your face stick with it and keep trying to improve your playing skills that's the most important factor in any type of musicianship as someone who's been playing for 50 years and spent a small fortune buying and selling all types of gear that tone is a mythical road to nowhere but learning to get better will never end
Treble boosters are just called that. They actually just add nice warm germanium gain, boost mid, and cut lows, for a classic rock sound. They’re not supposed to turn your tone into a pack of angry bees.
Nice video as always Hennig! But I don’t agree a 100% with your criticism on the not soft click. I have pedals with both types of switches. And I admit the soft clicks are nice especially in a quite studio situation like yours. But on a loud messy stage, when you’re rocking the hell out of yourself, I prefer the feedback of the old style switches.
Have not gotten a chance to use a pedal with the soft switch, but having the positive feedback and less of a chance of accidentally tapping it at the wrong time, think I'll stay with the old fashion clicky switched for now. Also worry about durability. Though hate hearing it in the vocal or room mike. Gesundheit, by the way. If you could teach Noodles to play he could fill in for Vanessa when she not available.
Wow, as both Wampler plexi-drive mini as the Carl Martin are in the same price range, I tend to choose the classic side and morerer knobbies ;-) Cool, your personal landing page at Sweetwater, a good reminder for visitors what your favourite gear is. Very welcoming. Could you ask Thomann If they can divert the affiliate link to the preferred language of the visitor? Ich spreche ein Bisschen Deutsch, aber es wuerde Affengeil sein wenn ich gerade als Holländische Kunde erkannt würde. It's not a big deal, one click on the flag and I'm there, but hey let's give it a try!
Somehow there is a lot of plexi like pedals recently. Well, there was a lot before, but now there is more. My theory is because EVH left us, now the industries shift to similar sounds of his. Dont know really, but i think we need fresh new sounds, things that inspire. Thats why i respect Revv. If a company come with a good new sound an is more aforable that revv for beginers and budget guitarist, imaging the raise of an artist who isnt a clone of other guitarist. Not that the plexi sound is bad, is really good but by now is repetitive i think.
Gonna thumbs down for the opening intro to this video. Never start a video with high volume blaring into people's speakers. We click on these links and without any warning there's a wall of noise! Not good and could damage our speakers. Also the same, jarringly loud intro is too long. No one wants 30+ seconds of intro. Get to the point quickly. Very poorly done.
The pedal actually sounds really convincing, I must say. Probably the best pedal Plexi I've heard so far. Bruno, I love you!

Sounds nice and I thought it would be $100 more in price so thumbs up! Nice job on the demo and thanks!
This is the best overdrive/booster I've ever bought. The booster alone is awesome but with the plexidrive in conjunction it's ridiculous - a steal.
another superb and honest review ! To be honest, if I don't know if I'd spent more time with your gear or the dogs haha !
Love it, stay safe you all.

Love it through that pushed D20! Awesome video dude 🤘
Happy holiday season to you and yours, and thanks again for the videos! Rock on, and peace :)
When your poodle wants to come in and play your guitar with its nose you know you have serious tone goin on! 😊👍
Doggie!!!!! Hahahaha!!! Sooo cute! Digging the pedal too!
I think dogs should be allowed in every demo review!!!!
Vocals are very Suzanne Vega...The Queen & The Soldier phrasing in the verses.
I just wanna point out that your lego hoodie is sick dude!
Wow, I really enjoyed your song!! It was great!!!
Love that pedal .. It's the eight amps in the background I desperately need first that's going to break my budget 😆🙄
Your chops are soooo good!
The Plexi section Is the same of plexitone single channel?
Nice solo.
Nice video as always Hennig!

I always prefer a soft click, even on stage because on many pedals you also hear the switch through the speakers

Does the Boost give you extra Volume with the Plexi side engaged? Or it’s just extra gain because it comes before the Plexi side?
Missed out on riff to Black Dog there
Excellent!!
What is the model of that gorgeous Ibanez?
10:04 Is the dog eating the area rug? :o
This or the single channel plexitone pedal? 🤔
Das mit dem Niesen ist so ikonisch wie die Windmühle von Pete Townsend
Yey! Vanessa! Hanna! Henning! 😂
Dude, the pedal sounds great. Can't say that for the song though. Just sayin
where should I wire the money for your music critic services... apparently I hired you!
