we all appreciate this yes, because it's beautiful. But I'm not sure everyone understands how difficult it is to be clean, and have perfect timing to a song like this. With just piano and a singer who isnt always following the beat of the song. To organize formation and ripples that are timed so perfectly, To use space and formation to divert peoples eyes and make them focus on what you want the audience to focus on. I appreciate this so much, and to think these are KIDS. Larkin man, I'm so impressed and im in awe.
Exactly what i've been thinking! I teach dance to kids and teens myself and they all complain when u give them a bit of pressure, when u try to bring out the best form off themselves to the surface! Those kids here just keep striking tears into my eyes! I rewatched it already from different angles and also the video they shot themselves and every time i get the same amount of respect for Chibi Unity, for Larkin Poynton (the choreographer) and of course for Benjamin Clementine. This song, this choreography and this amount of skill + emotion shown by EVERY single dancer, is the best thing i have seen in my life so far!

@@TheRealAntonSensei This is so Japanese man, it's not just the dance, they wont complain even if their work conditions are almost slavery, parents pressuring them, society pressuring them, they won't complain and press on, nay it's so asian at best.
As a Local Choreographer myself....Lord Knows I Get Exactly how Demanding it is to be Virtuous in every possible way! That takes an ENORMOUS amount of Commitment, Passion, Determination, Stamina, Agility...just to name a few.... I'm as well Extremely Surprised and Impressed! @@asiyahherrera1895 I think it's more on human nature, a human nature truly common among asians, the ability to push through without complaints and persevere even if it costs them their freedom and accumulation of stress.
It always hits me hard seeing dancers holding back tears mid-performance.
It doesn't matter how often i watch it , I still her goosbumps
The story behind this piece is moving.
The choreography is flawless.
Transition on point .
Synchronity unbelievable.
And these emotions.
This is what I call a masterpiece.
A masterpiece which could'nt been done without endless hart work. This is passion 🖤

After watching Gravy Babies, I actually said in my mind that this group has to be better than them since the title are 1st place. It really blew my expectations. I bet the judges are standing on their feet when watching this cause I literally get up from lying on my bed watching this one. They deserve it
Back to this masterpiece again. This is the only dance performance that made me tear up.

its really different from other groups who went and compete this really was a clear understanding and it was calming not hyped and my mind was still blown away of how they did that this was a good win for them !!
i've watched this probably 30 times or more since finding this??? i never get tired of it. it's wild and totally incredible.
Their sharpness and unity...I was in awe the entire time! Just crazy and the musicality. There’s no way that they didn’t put their entire lives on hold to rehearse this over months and months because everything was not only perfectly with the music but even aligned in height and extension.
Now, there are competing in the World of Dance! I am rooting for them.... Just, mind boggling!

The technicality is out of this world. The jr's this year could have easily been top 3 in the adult division. EASY
This is by far the cleanest piece i've seen with the amount of difficulty included (and the song isnt the easiest to be clean too i might add). You can tell how emotional this piece is @ 4:51 by the look on all of the dancers faces. Pure emotion. Most of them are crying in fact if you really pay attention. Absolutely breathtaking

WOW that was BEAUTIFUL. Goosebumps...they remind me of how I felt when I started watching Choreo Cookies 10 years ago - one unit sending out one message led by Keone and Mari. They're just much younger and much more athletic. The Lab was sick...GravyBabies was straight murder...and Chibi was...pure emotion on stage. So well deserved! Can't wait to see what they bring in the future! edit: Choreo by Larkin - Bravo!
