Chibi has the tendency to make people think of small anime characters but it actually just means undersized, pipsqueak, small fry, etc.
They did not only dance so perfectly clean, but the amount of profound elements on their performance - it did captured me. It touched me emotionally. Such a wonderful performance. I love watching it over and over again. No wonder they got the first place - they deserved it. Congratulations. I love everything on it.

I came here after watching the labs performance, convinced that no one could top their performance and expected nothing great from this one.
Instead, I was left in tears and in awe because of this beautiful art. What a talented group of people. You guys deserved every bit of first place. ❤️
I thought the exact same thing. their performance truly knocked me off my feet. it was like a painting coming to life grabbing at the core of my heart.......... it was beautiful

I have watched this piece several times a week for the last 4-5 months. And every time I watch it I see something new: a facial expression, a little shape. I have never gotten this emotional over a choreography, but this is something else.
Apart from it being amazingly clean and basically technically perfect I have watched many dancers individually through the whole piece and the emotions they display are so extremely moving.
I personally like the one best they did at the Vibe as an exhibition, because they are more confident but in this one you can see some of them really crying at the end and I think that is beautiful.
I can't really put in words what this piece made me feel, but I just wanted to say thank you to Larkin Poynton and Chibi Unity.

Then searched for the 1st place
Was skeptic given their group name is Chibi Unity..
Then.. Whoooooa (im even in sync with the audience) hahahaha

The technicality is out of this world. The jr's this year could have easily been top 3 in the adult division. EASY
This is by far the cleanest piece i've seen with the amount of difficulty included (and the song isnt the easiest to be clean too i might add). You can tell how emotional this piece is @ 4:51 by the look on all of the dancers faces. Pure emotion. Most of them are crying in fact if you really pay attention. Absolutely breathtaking
God, that last sequence looked amazing on wide view, looks even more amazing up close.
That "Thank you, everyone!" at 4:50 though...

Their performance was breathtaking! Got that Keone and Mari vibe but with an entire group. The synchronization was on point and overall it told a story and grabbed your attention from beginning to end. They deserved that spot! Great job!
This is one performance that I prefered the wide angle over the front row. So many formations that are harder to see up close. This had to be the 6th time watching this, amazing!!

i've watched this countless times at this point, from both wide view and front row--it never gets old.
and for all of the incredible, intricate, beautifully executed and powerful moments, one of my favorites is at 4:28 where everyone leans back in unison. something abt it being SO smooth and SO in synch just gets me every time. it's so simple, but so clean. and the stage lights are all different colors and it's visible bc they've all perfectly hit their marks on the stage. and the reveal of their bodies and suits reflecting those different lights in perfect unison? it's so simple but so powerful.

I've seen this as the music video and it's super amazing and powerful- it's cool to see it from one angle to see how all the dancers are doing so much the entire time. Also, if anything this one take live performance was better than the video which is amazing!

No puedo dejar de leerla y releerla, me hace pensar con cada cada palabra q expresa, con cada palabra q esconde, palabras paralelas, palabras q ocultan palabras, palabras q sólo se encuentran con pausa y con repetición buscándolas en distintos lugares de esta hoja de papel q representa el escenario, palabras q surgen al mismo momento q desaparecen y q ya sólo se encuentran en nuestro interior, pero q no son nuestras, si no compartidas entre los q vivimos con los ojos abiertos para ver la realidad, y cerrados, para nuestros sueños entre un mundo q vive dormido ante la realidad mientras despiertos les fabrican los sueños.
