IRL, you could fire 5-6 shots per minute from a gun like that with paper cartridges. In a video game, it should be 7-8 shots per minute. Still would have to take cover between every shot. Also, the muzzleloader is a Hawken rifle - an American design. How hard is it to go to the Tower of London and look at some British flintlock service rifles? Should be a Baker rifle. A Ferguson rifle would have been a lot cooler though - a breechloading flintlock rifle. Surely someone on Team Folon lives in London or close by.

Tho the weapon variety is amazing, FO:L's guns have the same animation issues like Stalker Anomaly. Bc most of the guns are from different animators, some reload animations are buttery smooth, copied from vanilla fallout or absolutely potato lol
Well, the crude shotgun, (along with most of the crude weapons) are all based off concept art made by Bethesda for FO4. The modeler was pretty much being faithful to the original design.

Pleasantly surprised to see the Black Rod AND the Ceremonial Mace as melee weapons. Shame that the Sword of State isn't among them though. WOndering if the Crown Jewels are even in the game or if they were looted ages ago. Though Excalibur, was a surprise. I didn't think they would even put in something like that. Nice to see.
It used black powder so made a fuckload of smoke but was pretty useless compared to later guns using smokeless. Still no fun getting hit by a round but you had to be within 100 metres or so to actually hit what you were aiming at. (Not that you could see it given the smoke...) The Martini-Enfield started service as a .450 but was converted to .303 later.

Its like the mod team saw the long load time of the black power rifle from Fallout 76 and said "hold my tea". Though even with the hilariously long load time its a very effective weapon that makes the reload worth it.
This mod also shows that real firearms still have a place in Fallout. The retro-futuristic weapons can coexist with the real guns just like New Vegas. Bethesda should take notes. Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
Bethesda hasn't stopped using real world firearms. Fallout 76 added an M79, Mk.19, M2 Browning, MG-42, Gatling Gun, and Single Action Army on top of Fallout 4's existing weapons. There's also an AR-10 skin for the handmade rifle, and a Sten SMG in the files that never got added.

That's extremely modern by Fallout's standards, even considering the original games which did have some modern-ish weapons (mostly prototypes.) What's weird about it is that it was a US military paratrooper weapon, used by the 82nd Airborne and other units. This is very weird when we know a large portion of the military was canonically still using WWII-era weapons, and even guns like the R91 (Fallout 3's assault rifle) are much less advanced. If modern AR style rifles existed in Fallout, and were common enough to outfit entire divisions, it's hard to believe that the average equipment was so much older.
i ain't got one in-game but judging from appearance alone, the Iron Curtain may be a port of the Deaglov from H3VR (Hotdogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades), a vr sandbox fps. the Deaglov specifically is just a makarov with a deagle frame, chambered in .32 ACP in H3VR despite the makarov being in 9x18mm and the deagles using several much higher calibers

I honestly did not expect there to be a camera "Weapon" in the mod. Im guessing its a thing you get in some quest later down the line. I do also find the bash animation for it to be funny. You take a selfie and just send a knuckle sandwich

Their lewis gun literally has a flat plane for a receiver. There is no hole for bullets to go in, there are no workings that rotate the magazine, it's not good. The majority of their weapons come from mods on the nexus, and it really feels like there was no cohesive art or quality standards for animations or models, which shows through the wildly varying quality seen throughout this video.
Its a nitpick but the luger's toggle lock is moving way to slowly. Even when firing amd handling the gun the toggle is little more than a barely noticeable blur. Also the case ejection is way to slow and limp. The luger absolutely launches cases. Edit The mauser pistol top assembly isnt reciprocating before the bolt moves. Oh god i just saw the makarov/deagle hybrid The weblet fosbery is perfectly modelled and animated. Wow. The plasma pistol is atrocious. Holy shit a properly modelled and functioning dardick revolver. Props for that. The crude smg and rifle have always been kind of rough, props for the inclusion of another mod though That flintlock operation is suprisingly realistic amd not shortened for play convenience at all.
Surprised there's no Luty, should really be in there. Also the commando knife should be remodeled to be more akin to the actual Fairbairn Sykes. I'd also like to see more machetes and meat cleaver type weapons.

This mod has a lot of revolvers. We've got a single action handmade crude revolver, a plasma revolver, an automatic revolver, a pump action revolver, a magazine fed revolver, a rifle revolver, I'm almost surprised there's no bullpup revolver.
If you want to get technical the Judge is an underbarrel shotgun revolver. The barrel being positioned under where it usually is is the bullpup of revolvers.

I'm begining to think the battle rifle and the Sterling are not in the game. I have yet to see a video of anyone using them in game and I have nto found any of them in my game well beyond level 50.
