I also made a lot of funny faces with the bulborb whilst making this animation, so I made funny little extra video showing them off:

Mamuta, during all of this conversation, is just wondering if it should mention the whole 'planting Pikmin in the ground' thing.
Mamuta constantly thinking to itself “Don’t tell them you make Pikmin stronger, don’t tell them you make Pikmin stronger!!” whilst sweating profusely
Mamutas are the most chill "enemy" I kinda feel bad for killing them as they've helped me out in a lot of caves back in the day.

I absolutely loved the red spotted bulborb instantly turning to the camera instead of keeping the clean animation, just comedy gold. God tier animating.

this made me wheeze super hard, The way the characters start to look unreasonably goofy, 0:22 makes it even funnier. You’re probably the best pikmin animator I’ve seen, It’s the perfect mix between professional and goofy.

Such exaggerated movements made up for the lack of… well a face.
In 4, they gave the Pearly Clamclamp a personality as well, even though it has no face. Just see when it eats a bomb rock and survives.

personality and movement the model is the same as pikmin 3 as far as I can tell

i love the attention to detail in here, especially when the man-at-legs shoots at the three pikmin and not only are they gone, but the grass that was there before too. goodest job! :)

Something about Mamuta squinting and saying "Is that a hoe" feels perfectly on brand for that species.

Dont forget the long legs, special way of getting rid of pikmin,jumping out of nowhere and giving them a heart attack,and if that doesnt work,nothing beats good ol stompin!

I DONT understand why blowhogs and other enemies that DONT eat Pikmin kill Pikmin like whats the point in killing the Pikmin is it for self defence because they have an item we need?
All non eating Pikmin enemies use Photosynthisis for nutriants
Plenty of non-carnivorous animal irl are highly territorial like hippopotamus, rhinos, buffalo etc
For the same reason Rhinos or Elephants will try to kill you if you are in their territories. That or because they protect their youngs. The Piklopedia states that's the reason wollywogs are dirtbags that try to crush Pikmin on sight. Blue Pikmins are actually a common predator for the Wogpoles.
Then there are the really weird ones like the wraiths and the Mamuta. The Mamuta has evoled a habit of planting seeds to make food reserves so it tries to plant anything vaguely ressembling a flower.
The wraith are more interesting. The Waterwraith's taxonomy lists it as Amphibio Sapiens. The Sapiens term seems to imply that it is sentient like humans are. So it is outright killing Pikmin because it is a dick.
Pikmin feed them to the Onion for reproduction

I think every pikmin game being on the switch is really going to push the series popularity to new hights whitch will lead to more animations like this.
