I'm rapidly approaching middle age, sitting here watching your video smiling but shaking my head all the way through. Not in condescension, but in sympathy for the youthful and the young man I used to be myself. Your way of thinking doesn't hurt, but is ultimately quite useless when navigating through life in my experience. Eventually, life always forces you to limit your expectations. If you don't, the end result is bitterness and sometimes overwhelming loss and grief. You're right about the school system though, it does nothing to empower kids to follow their dreams.
