Critical Mass March 2024 - Braid Estate

In March the council agreed to remove the Quiet Route from Greenbank to Cluny Gardens, remove all parking from Hermitage Drive and on the western side of Braid Avenue, remove modal filters which were installed during the pandemic , perhaps add segregated cycle lanes on each side of Braid Avenue and also install floating parking on Braid Avenue. Residents who do not want this to happen have set up a petition and Paul from the Save our Streets campaign spoke to the members of Critical Mass before they cycled to the area on Saturday afternoon.

The fair thing is to spread the traffic over all available roads rather than funnel all traffic down one or two roads which get clogged up and polluted. Local people have voted for this approach so please don't keep stirring this up again
