The BBC is awful . It is so met elite virtue signalling it's incredible . When I was growing up the BBC was conservative- establishment . However ,the children of those people are so embarrassed by their private school - Oxbridge privilege that they think they can wash their guilt by being left wing .
A friend of mine worked in high level IT fir the poshest bank in England. He went freelance and ended up working at the BBC . He told me that the perks at his old posh bank paled into insignificance to the lavish perks he got at the BBC .
They really are the sneering classes . Emily maitlis has earned fame as a result of her interview with Prince Andrew , but watch her interview with Steve Bannen on UA-cam. He completely wiped the smugness off her face !
