Really liked the BW shots of Spoons’ hands on the keyboard and the shoes dangling off the sculpture!

FUN! Yes, it is a long vlog, but I watched the WHOLE thing because I loved the POV style. It was so interesting to see the town through your “eyes.” I often thought 🤔 what is he taking a picture of? And then you would show the picture and we got to “see” what you noticed! I love your artistic eye. So many of these photos were awesome! I loved all the photos, but some of my favorite were the ones of Spoon Man, the doorway with the tile, the shoes on the sculpture, the discarded items, the child sculpture with the book (I liked the black and white too) 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed that Jim. The problem with the US, it's not a big walking around place like they do in Europe/UK. And down here it's too dang hot to walk around. But I always enjoy a good look around where someone else lives. Some really great shots in this video...the twisted tea images, Spoon Man, the hanging tennis shoes were some of my favs. Really enjoyed this one! Have a great weekend!

Thanks so much, Paul. I really enjoyed putting this one together. If only I can get used to using a camera with no markings on the dials!🤣

Great way to navigate the streets and looks like fun despite the lack of people Jim! That’s one thing I like about my Nikon D5300: the articulating screen - invaluable. Loved Tom the bones shots - after my trip out I think the people images are my favourite to shoot. Like you I had my strap attached which on second thoughts I think I will leave next time as it was a bit of an encumbrance. Some lovely intimate detail images and that bloody bell drove me mad 🤣 I decided on the DJI mic after some deliberation between that and the WG 2 - sold a couple of my old mics and the WG 1 to contribute to the purchase ! Anyway an enjoyable downtown trip and interesting to see your neck of the woods. Take care and all the best 😊

Thanks so much. I really debated leaving that whole bridge sequence in the video. Ultimately I decided to share what we experience every 15 minutes in the summer months! 🤪
Port Huron has three drawbridges in the downtown area. Each bridge raises every 15 minutes in peak boating season. 🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔
Enjoy your new mic. I hear the DJI is great.

Thanks so much. It was fun. I’m editing another video with some POV for next week. The Lensbaby SOL 45 on the X-S10.

Great work Jim. I do like the film simulations in Fuji cameras, who needs lightroom when the jpegs look that good out of camera. A couple of years ago I nearly pulled the trigger on a Fuji XF10 - there was a great deal one ebay from a camera store plus ebay were offering a discount and I had some nectar points which meant I could have picked it up for less than £200 - I've kicked myself everyday since for not buying it.

I absolutely love the Fuji ecosystem. Still not 💯 sure about the X-S10 with it’s departure from retro (date I say vintage) styling. But it’s so impossibly light weight… and the SOOC images! 😍

Looks like a great little camera and you got some really nice shots with it. My faves were the ones of Tommy Spoons - particularly around the 8:04 / 8:08 marks. 😊

I’m really enjoying the X-S10. The lack of traditional dials is somewhat frustrating to an old-timer like me, but the versatility and quality more than make up for it. Total bonus: I now have IBIS with my vintage lenses!

Brilliant video! Tend to overlook the things closest to you for some more grandeur setting, so much character in small towns in the US. Taking the time to look around can open larger views of the ordinary! I just picked up a Pentax MX-1 absolutely enjoy it and easy one hand shooting with a semi articulating screen, but miss the viewfinder. Excellent content as always!

Thanks so much. I really enjoyed this one. I may do another exploring only the side streets. The articulating screen is wonderful! Plus IBIS with my vintage glass! 🥳
