You are the only one that makes me want to go out to my shop even though I’m snowed in at the present. I look forward to everything you post. Because of cost, my first one will be made with pallet wood. Talk about rustic! We have a 200.+ yr old house and these will be perfect.

Daniel, I've been watching you for quite some time now and I enjoy your videos BUT you gotta be safer for yourself and your family man. Every time i see you use your new bandsaw i scream from north Georgia to LOWER YOUR GUARD!!! You always have it all the way up even for small items. That's very unsafe man. If you were to slip or something was to scare you... And you fell into it, It would cause a lot more damage up like you have it instead of down like it should be. You only need that thing about an inch above your wood. Plus the rollers on the end of it are there for a reason, To help steady your blade and give you a better cut. I'm not trying to tell you how to work in your own shop. I just want you to do it safe, So you can keep producing enjoyable videos for us. We don't need another scribing wheel accident.... or worse.

Not at the big box stores and framing lumber yards , 5/4 is considered 1” , I’m well aware the dimensions of said lumber , I build custom homes and frequently by 5/4 decking that measures 1” . And when I by hardwood for the shop building projects in shop my suppliers go by board foot and 5/4 is 1 1/4 Now when it comes to hardwood board footage yes 4/4 1” obviously . 🙄 but anyways thought I’d clear that up.
